Medicinal plants are widely used in the treatment of skin diseases. Topical application of gels at pathological sites offer faster release of a drug to site of action. The poly herbal gel of Curcuma longa, Curcuma caesia and amada showed anti-inflammatory activity in paw edema. Among the three distinct phases of inflammation, the last phase is considered to be the most clinically effective phase to access the anti-inflammatory drugs. It was concluded that the response of PHGs treated group animals in the first phase (1 h) after the post treatment was found to be less effective as compared to standard drug treated animals. It might be possibly due to inadequate release of histamine and serotonin. The anti-inflammatory effect was found to be consistent in the second phase (1-2 h) in all treatment group with maximum effect by standard drug treated animals that possibly indicated the release of phase two mediator. However the PHGs treated group animals at all dose level were found to be effective in phase three (2-3 h), corresponding with the significant release for phase 3 mediators.

Drone operations, encompassing the use of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), have evolved rapidly across various industries, including defense, logistics, agriculture, and entertainment. This paper provides a detailed exploration of drone operation, focusing on the technological advancements, operational procedures, regulatory frameworks, and future trends. The operational process of drones begins with the design and functionality of UAVs, which are equipped with sensors, GPS, cameras, and autonomous systems that allow for precise control and navigation. The drone operator, through ground control stations or remote piloting systems, is responsible for commanding the UAV's flight path, ensuring safety protocols, and adapting to changing environmental conditions. Central to efficient drone operations are communication systems, which facilitate real-time data transmission and enable operators to monitor flight status, make adjustments, and troubleshoot potential issues. The integration of artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning is also enhancing drone autonomy, enabling intelligent decision-making in dynamic environments. Additionally, the operation of drones is heavily influenced by legal and ethical considerations, with governments worldwide establishing regulations on airspace usage, privacy concerns, and safety standards. Looking ahead, the future of drone operations is marked by the development of advanced technologies such as swarm robotics, which involves the coordination of multiple drones for complex tasks, and improved battery systems for longer flight durations. Furthermore, the expansion of drone usage in industries such as healthcare (e.g., medical delivery) and infrastructure inspection is expected to create new operational frameworks and challenges. This paper concludes by highlighting the continuous evolution of drone operations emphasizing the need for interdisciplinary collaboration to address the technical, regulatory, and ethical challenges posed by UAV technology.

Abstract This paper explores the interconnections between cultural trauma and post-colonial identity through an analysis of Alice Walker's Possessing the Secret of Joy. The study examines how the novel portrays personal and collective suffering resulting from colonialism, slavery, and patriarchal practices such as female genital mutilation. It highlights the protagonist's journey as a reflection of the complex interplay between individual trauma and communal memory, illustrating how storytelling serves as a therapeutic tool for healing and resilience. The analysis addresses the intersections of race, gender, and historical oppression, situating Walker's work within the broader discourse of post-colonial literature. By emphasizing the reconstruction of memory as an act of resistance and transformation, the paper underscores the novel's critique of cultural and epistemic violence and its advocacy for collective healing and empowerment.

The Indian handloom industry is the oldest industry and highly labor-intensive, which plays a crucial role in the rural economy. Generally, weaving is a family activity with each member contributing in varying degrees to the process involved in producing cloth. Handloom weaving is a hereditary occupation, and the weaving cannot be done by a single man; it requires collective work. The entire work, from the pre-weaving process to the weaving of the cloth, is shared by different members of the family, including women and children. The involvement of men, women, and children varied from process to process, but the final act of weaving is carried out mostly by the men in bulk. There is no formal training for the weavers. Andhra Pradesh has much economic importance, and the fabrics are being exported to various countries, but the primary handloom cooperative societies in Andhra Pradesh are facing acute management problems. A majority of them are struggling hard to survive. Competition of mill or power loom products, unfavorable climatic conditions, lack of finance, and other management problems have also enhanced the problems of cooperative societies. Hence an attempt is made by me to analyze the production problems of primary handloom cooperative societies in Andhra Pradesh.

The permeability and solubility of drugs plays crucial role in determining their bioavailability which affects patient's compliance and therapeutic outcomes. Drugs with low solubility and low permeability faced many challenges in reaching to their desired site of action. To overcome this problems various new techniques have been developed to enhance solubility and permeability of drugs. The approaches to improved solubility are polymeric micelles, nano-emulsion, dendrimers, liposomes, carbon nanotubes, nano-gels etc. while approaches to improved permeability are chemical modification, spray freeze drying, lipid technologies, self-emulsifying drug delivery system etc. often involve modifying drugs molecular structure. This review explores techniques to improve solubility and permeability with their mechanism of action and pharmaceutical application.

The legal framework governing surrogacy in India has undergone significant transformation in recent years, with a primary focus on regulating the practice to ensure ethical standards and protect the rights of all parties involved. Surrogacy in India was once a thriving industry, attracting international attention due to its relatively low costs and the country's lenient laws. However, concerns over exploitation, particularly of women from marginalized communities, and the ethical and legal complexities of international surrogacy prompted the Indian government to intervene. In 2020, the Surrogacy (Regulation) Bill was introduced, which aims to regulate surrogacy arrangements, both domestic and international, and establish a legal framework that promotes ethical practices. The Bill distinguishes between altruistic surrogacy (non-commercial) and commercial surrogacy, explicitly banning the latter, citing concerns over the potential exploitation of women as surrogate mothers. Key provisions under the Bill include strict guidelines on eligibility for both intended parents and surrogates, the establishment of a National Surrogacy Board, and the creation of regulations for ART (Assisted Reproductive Technology) clinics. The legislation mandates that only Indian citizens can avail of surrogacy services, and the intended parents must be legally married. Additionally, the surrogate mother must meet specific health and age requirements, and the arrangement must be altruistic, with no financial compensation other than medical expenses and insurance coverage. Despite its intention to safeguard the rights of all stakeholders, the regulation of surrogacy raises concerns about its practical implementation, including the challenge of preventing illegal or unregulated surrogacy practices. This paper examines the legal aspects of surrogacy in India, analyzing the Surrogacy (Regulation) Bill of 2020, its implications, and the ethical dilemmas it seeks to address, with a focus on the protection of surrogate mothers, children, and intended parents.
