The medicinal properties of Mimosa pudica, a widely used plant in traditional medicine, were investigated through phytochemical screening, antioxidant, and antidiabetic assays. Antioxidant potential was evaluated using ABTS and hydrogen peroxide (H?O?) scavenging assays. The methanol extract exhibited potent radical-scavenging activity with a low IC?? value, suggesting its capacity to neutralize reactive oxygen species (ROS), which are implicated in oxidative stress and related diseases such as cancer, cardiovascular diseases, and diabetes. Furthermore, the in vitro antidiabetic activity of Mimosa pudica was assessed by measuring the inhibition of ?-amylase and ?-glucosidase enzymes. The methanol extract showed strong inhibition of both enzymes, indicating its potential in managing postprandial blood glucose levels, a key factor in diabetes management. The findings highlight Mimosa pudica as a promising natural source of antioxidants and antidiabetic agents. Its rich phytochemical profile, particularly the high flavonoid and phenol content, underpins its therapeutic potential. Statistical analysis confirmed that methanol extracts were more bioactive compared to hexane extracts. This study supports the use of Mimosa pudica in the development of natural formulations for the prevention and treatment of oxidative stress-related diseases and diabetes. Further research is needed to isolate and characterize the active compounds responsible for these bioactivities and to explore their mechanisms of action.

BACKGROUND : Head and neck cancer (HNC) encompasses a diverse group of malignancies affecting the oral cavity, pharynx, larynx, and other anatomical regions within the head and neck. Head and neck cancer (HNC) typically refers to malignant tumours arising from mucosal lining of upper aerodigestive tract, and encompasses primary sites within oral cavity, larynx and pharynx AIM & OBJECTIVE :The aim of this study was to compare the deep neck flexor endurance in patients with head and neck cancer versus normal individuals. The objective was to find out the difference in deep neck flexor endurance among head and neck cancer patients versus normal individuals. Methods: The observational study was conducted at a tertiary care hospital . The study population included patients with head and neck cancer and normal individuals. Group A consisted of head and neck cancer patients, while Group B comprised normal individuals. The study spanned a duration of three months, utilizing purposive sampling to select a sample size of 64 patients, with 32 in each group. The primary outcome measure was the deep neck flexor endurance test. Results : Data was analysed by using instat version 3.0 . Between group analysis was done for deep neck flexor endurance ( u value = 1024 , p value = <0.0001 ) using non parametric test .The result of the study showed that extremely significant difference was found which reflects normal individuals having more endurance than patients with HNC Conclusion : It is concluded that Head and Neck Cancer patients had reduced Deep Neck Flexor endurance as compared to normal individuals. Keywords: Head and neck cancer , deep neck flexors , Craniocervical flexor endurance training.

A nursery is an agriculture where plants are propagated, nurtured, grown, and sold out to the home garden or commercial purpose. Two important factors determined the nursery design was nursery physical environmental factors and the technical factors of seedling production. In this project we mainly study two important factors determined by the nursery design, one is nursery physical environmental factors, and another one is technical factors of seedling production, so the purpose of this project is to systematically review the applications and methodology of statistics to calculate the estimation of cost production by using statistics methods. Variance cost method is used for gathering data, least square method is used to calculate the cost estimation.

The rapid growth of artificial intelligence has made it easier to create convincing fake media, posing serious risks in areas like politics, entertainment, and social media. As fake content becomes more widespread, effective detection methods are crucial. Current approaches struggle to keep up with evolving deepfake technologies, creating a need for reliable solutions. This paper proposes using convolutional neural networks to analyze facial features and motion inconsistencies in videos, aiming to improve detection accuracy. Additionally, audio analysis will be integrated to detect mismatches between sound and visuals, enhancing the model's effectiveness. The research emphasizes the importance of simple and effective methods to address the challenges of fake media.

The Alkali-Silica Reaction (ASR) is a critical durability issue in Ultra-High-Performance Concrete (UHPC), potentially compromising its exceptional mechanical properties and long-term performance. UHPC has emerged as a strong competitor to Normal Strength Concrete (NSC) in several building industries. This research examines the effects of ASR on UHPC, and its fiber-reinforced versions (UHPFRC) compared with NSC. Mechanical properties, including compressive, flexural, and split tensile strength, were assessed over varying curing periods (7, 14, 28, 56, 90, and 180 days) to analyze the influence of ASR. The study highlights the role of fiber reinforcement and optimized mix designs in enhancing resistance to ASR-induced damage. Mixtures of recycled steel fibers, raw slag (RS), and untreated coal ash (CA) were developed for use in sustainable UHPCs. Accelerated ASR conditions (per ASTM C1260) and conventional water curing were both applied to the specimens during the curing process. In addition, they compare the mechanical strength of UHPFRC and NSC over curing periods of 28, 56, and 90 days, focusing on the effects of ASR and water curing. The results demonstrated that the incorporation of fibers, particularly steel fibers, significantly enhanced the mechanical properties of UHPC, including higher CS and FS, while reducing the risk of crack propagation and improving overall durability. The comparison with NSC further underscored the advantages of UHPC and UHPFRC, which consistently outperformed NSC across all strength categories, with CS reaching up to 161MPa at 90 days compared to the maximum 37.8MPa for NSC.

Rasashastra is a special branch of Ayurveda which deals with processing of mercury and making it therapeutically absorbable in the body. The act of imbibing definite therapeutic properties in purified mercury through various pharmaceutical procedures is known as Murcchana. Arogya Vardhini Gutika Rasa is a Khalviya Rasayana Yoga explained in the Rasaratna Samucchaya, Kushta Rogadhikara. Pottali Kalpana is a consolidated form of mercurial preparation which incorporates the Pota Bandha of Parada. Pottali is also type of Parada Murcchana where processing of mineral and herbal drugs is done using Gandhaka Drava Paka. Hence an attempt is being made to do pharmaceutical study of Arogya Vardhini Gutika Rasa and modify it into Pottali and conduct its analytical study. The ratio of the ingredients and Bhavana Dravya were according to classical reference and out of 18g of Kalka, we obtained 8g of Pottali. Gandhaka or sulphur helps in forming a hard compact mass of the medicine which is more stable and difficult to break, thus preventing loss/leakage of medicine and its efficacy. There was considerable decrease in loss on drying from Gutika to Pottali which denoted that Pottali may have more shelf-life. Pottali may be having faster action as the Sukshma Churna obtained by rubbing Pottali has faster absorption compared to Gutika. Hardness of the Pottali is more compared to the Gutika which suggest that Pottali is more stable compared to Gutika. As Arogya Vardhini Rasa is prescribed as Rasayana for longer duration, Pottali form can be a better dosage form compared to Gutika/Vati.

This study aimed to develop and evaluate the ( natural) herbal cosmetic producte like- cold creams by using plant extracts containing aloe-vera and other extracts the cold cream was prepared by using water-in-oil method. The creams showed good consistency, spreading ability, pH, and no significant changes in physical properties. the emulsion slow evaporation of water was found to be cooling and sooting. The cold creams were also found to be physico-chemically, mechanically, and microbiologically stable, with characteristics of a standard cosmeceutical formulation for skincare. The study concluded that these cold creams were a good attempt to incorporate naturally available ingredients like almond and were safe for public and societal use. Pharmaceutical cold creams are used for various functions, such as hydrating, makeup remover, beauty enhancer and also help in improvement appearance.
