 Abstract

Food safety is a critical concern in Bangladesh, where rapid urbanization, a growing population, and increased food trade have amplified the need for robust safety management systems. Risk assessment, a key component of risk analysis, is pivotal for identifying and mitigating potential hazards in food production, processing, and distribution. This paper explores the current status of food safety management in Bangladesh and evaluates the role of risk assessment in addressing challenges such as contamination, regulatory gaps, and stakeholder awareness. The study emphasizes the importance of adopting international best practices and enhancing local capacities to strengthen food safety systems. Key recommendations include investment in advanced technologies, regulatory reforms, and capacity-building initiatives.

 Abstract

Electric vehicles are the way of the future. The rising EV market, along with the diminishing supply of petroleum fuels, demands the development of more efficient EVs. A battery management system (BMS) is an essential component of any electric vehicle. It consists of a number of electrical and electronic circuits (including converter and inverter circuits) that have been programmed to monitor and extract the maximum output from a battery system. The chemical reactions are what determine the battery's performance. The performance of a battery degrades as chemicals decay. As a result, these features of a battery must be regularly monitored. Because of their high charge density and lightweight, Lithium-ion batteries have proven to be a popular choice among electric vehicle producers. Despite the fact that these batteries have a lotof power for their size, they are quite unstable. It is critical that these batteries are never overcharged or discharged, requiring the use of voltage and current regulators. In this research paper, we will monitor various aspects of the vehicles like current, Voltage, SOC and temperature with the help of NodeMCU which is the Wi-fi enabled microchip that will send the data or crucial parameters to the server which is the Thing Speak. Therefore, in this way we can monitor these parameters from anywhere and also monitor battery health.

The Online Vehicle Rental System is a web-based platform aimed at simplifying the process of hiring vehicles online. Make the process of renting a car both easier and faster for both the customer and the rental company These systems are provided by service providers. This system offers an easy to use interface that users can browse ;select and rent vehicles according to their preferences, such as vehicle type, rental duration. Users can make booking quickly, check what vehicles are available and also it make payments online, ensuring a convenient and hassle-free experience For service providers, the system offers a consolidated dashboard to manage vehicle listings ,This is accomplished by monitoring the rental rate of vehicles and keeping an inventory on availability of vehicles for hire. It is also used to systemize stores' pricing so that same information can be used at different locations .Integration of real-time data into the websites makes it possible for the customers to have exact information on the products that they intend to buy availability of vehicles, rates, and rental conditions at any given moment. Major characteristics of the system include vehicle search and filtering, user authentication, payment gateway integration, vehicle booking management. The system ensures a secure environment for transactions and guarantees user privacy through encryption protocols. This the project utilizes contemporary web technologies in building an accessible user interface enhances customer experience, reduces operational costs for rental businesses, and fosters better communication between renters and service providers. Modern diagnostic tools aim to be precise, quick, and affordable while effectively spotting diseases, infections, or illnesses. Detecting a disease early on is crucial as it can determine the difference between life-threatening outcomes and successful treatment. One difficulty with various diseases is that the ability to detect them increases as the disease advances. Because single molecule sensors like nanopores can detect biomolecules even at low levels, they could be important in medical practices today. Using nanopores for sensing means you need less of a substance to detect it, which can be helpful in clinics. Nanopores can also be adjusted to detect many different types of molecules, are inexpensive, and can be made in large quantities. We talk about past studies and how nanopores can be used in medicine to detect diseases early, track treatments, and recognize when a disease comes back. Infections are a big problem for public health and they are becoming more dangerous for people everywhere. New or familiar recurring germs, or germs that are hard to fight against, make it difficult for us to identify and manage them. Nanopore sequencing technology can help us improve our capability to detect infectious diseases. To diagnose, question, and monitor infectious diseases easily because of the flexible reading length and portable system. This review discusses how nanopore sequencing technology is used in diagnosing infectious diseases in clinical settings. The content covers a quick overview of nanopore sequencing technology and the sequencing platforms by Oxford Nanopore Technologies (ONT). (i) Ways to use nanopore-based sequencing technologies; and (ii) How nanopore sequencing technology is used in keeping track of new developments.  Abstract

Urbanisation has resulted, among other things, in the large-scale prevalence of slums, which are crowded habitations of urban poor, with a glaring lack of basic amenities. Affordable housing with essential amenities is one of the important Sustainable Development Goals, and it is imperative to resettle the urban poor from slums in order to achieve this goal. The Slum Areas (Improvement and Clearance) Act of 1956 defines slum clearance as "the clearance of any slum area by the demolition and removal of buildings therefrom." In Tamil Nadu resettlement works are undertaken by the Tamil Nadu Urban Habitat Development Board, which has constructed over 1.7 lakh storied tenements constructed for the resettlement of urban poor. Post resettlement in a new location, there are several economic and physical impacts on the resettled poor, but there are also several often-intangible social losses. This study aims at identifying the important factors underlying the social dimensions of resettlement of urban poor, and estimating their impact on their psyche and lives post relocation. A convenience sample of 112 residents resettled to a multi-storeyed tenement in Chennai were randomly selected as the sample for study and descriptive research design was used to gather primary data for analysis. Percentage analysis, mean scores and anova were used to analyse the results and arrive at conclusions about the impact of the factors that contribute to the shock of resettlement, and cause stress and trauma to the resettled people.

 Abstract

Haemovigilance is an organized system that incorporates monitoring, identification, reporting, investigating and analysis of adverse episode near-misses and reactions pertinent to transfusion and manufacturing blood products. Approximately, 107 million units of blood donations are collected globally every year. Nearly 50% of these blood donations are collected in high-income countries. Blood donation rate in developed countries is 39.2 donations per 1000 population; 12.6 donations in developing and 4.0 donations in underdeveloped countries. Therefore, in this study Patients with blood transfusion were followed over a period of six months to record the occurance of Adverse reactions due to blood transfusion and its prevalence of occurance based on gender.

This study investigates the contributing factors affecting work productivity among first-grade college teachers in the Dakshina Kannada (DK) District of Karnataka. Utilizing a quantitative approach, data were collected from a sample of 104 teachers through a structured questionnaire distributed via WhatsApp. The analysis focuses on various dimensions of productivity, including continuous improvement, time management, resilience, motivation, and institutional support. Findings reveal that demographic factors such as age, gender, and employment status significantly influence teachers' productivity levels. Key results indicate that continuous professional development, effective time management, and a supportive work environment are critical for enhancing productivity. Additionally, the study highlights the importance of innovative teaching methods and personal motivation in fostering a productive educational atmosphere. The results provide valuable insights for educational stakeholders seeking to implement strategies that improve teacher performance and, consequently, student outcomes. Recommendations are made to enhance institutional support and promote professional development initiatives to further elevate work productivity among college educators in the region.
