Non- human animals functioning as narrators and protagonists is not common only to fairy tales and fables. Their voice can be found in serious literature too and they narrate the intricacies of their life and their worlds. The primary reason for having animals as narrators is the possibility of evoking empathy from the readers towards the plight of animals. The authors of such works try to decentre human beings and defamiliarize the human perception of the world. Having animals as narrators also facilitate the writers to avoid censorship and persecution by projecting their ideas through animal voice. Thus, ranging from fairy tales to political satires, animal images are common and their voices are used to negotiate the relationship between animals and humans. The paper aims to analyse the Animal narratives in the novel The Bees written by Laline Paull. The plot of the novel is revealed from the perception of a bee and with a limited human intervention. However, traces of anthropocentrism are found in the novel despite its careful detachment from the animal world. The paper sets to show the convergence of animal and human world and the system devised to have a better understanding on the life of bees.

The main aim of present investigation was to assess the current status of infrastructural facilities in secondary schools under Rashtriya Madhyamik Shiksha Abhiyan (RMSA) of Himachal Pradesh. The findings revealed that majority of sampled secondary schools has adequate infrastructural facilities but some facilities were inadequate almost in all sampled secondary schools in sampled four district of Himachal Pradesh. In the concluding part of the paper, findings have been discussed.

Potato crops offer numerous advantages to human life, with one of the most significant being their high carbohydrate content, which serves as a primary source of nutrition for humans. The progress in potato agriculture holds vital importance for sustaining human life. However, various challenges impede the development of potato farming, including diseases that target potato leaves. If left unaddressed, these diseases can lead to decreased production and potential crop failure. Notable among these leaf diseases is early blight, caused by the fungus 'Alternaria solani', and late blight, caused by the microbe 'Phytophthora infestans'. Each disease presents distinct symptoms, enabling farmers to take preventive measures upon their identification. However, due to the specialized knowledge required, accurate and timely disease identification proves challenging for the average farmer. In response to this, technology in informatics, particularly digital image processing, can offer a solution for disease identification in potato leaves. This research aims to propose an effective method for detecting diseases in potato leaves, utilizing three types of data: healthy leaves, early blight, and late blight. The identification process employs deep learning techniques, specifically utilizing the Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) architecture. The result of this research is that the 70:30 data segmentation produces better accuracy than the 80:20 data segmentation. The accuracy obtained is 98 % on training data and 97 % on validation data using 32 batch sizes at 50 epochs.

This study examines the various ways that artificial intelligence (AI) is changing the nature of work. Concerns about the loss of jobs, changes in skill requirements, and socioeconomic effects have gained more and more traction as AI technologies develop. The study examines the complex dynamics of job creation vs removal as it dives into the complex relationship between AI and employment. In light of AI integration, it evaluates the changing skill sets that employers are requiring, taking into account the importance of education and training in preparing the labor force. The study also examines the moral implications of AI's impact on employment, covering topics like algorithmic prejudice and the moral use of AI in recruiting. The study also looks at possible effects on income inequality, highlighting the need for inclusive policies to deal with the shifting environment. The report compares various national perspectives on AI's effects on jobs through a global lens and offers insights into policy frameworks meant to promote a peaceful coexistence between AI technology and workforce stability. Artificial intelligence's (AI) effects on employment are a complicated and dynamic subject. The complex implications of AI on employment across a range of industries are examined in this abstract. It explores how automation is transforming society by examining how AI technologies can both create and destroy jobs. Skill shifts are covered in the discussion, with a focus on the increasing significance of adaptability in the workplace. The abstract also discusses societal ramifications, including the necessity of reskilling programs and the possibility of AI increasing productivity. All in all, it offers a succinct synopsis of the dynamic interaction between AI and the labor market.

Research into energy collecting technology has grown significantly in recent years as a result of the growing demand for alternate energy sources. Different technologies have been developed recently, and the specific issue of energy harvesting on road pavements is a very young area of research. None of them, however, has demonstrated both high conversion efficiency and technical and financial feasibility. In order to transfer energy from the device surface to an electrical generator, this study discusses the construction of a new mechanical system to be used on an electromechanical device that harvests energy from road pavement. The major objective is to measure and contrast the new system's energy harvesting, transmission, and conversion efficiency with existing systems. There are offered conclusions about the effectiveness of the system

Hair loss are the common problems of today's generation for men and women both. Due to increase in pollution and chemicals which are directly or indirectly used in the form of shampoos, hair gels and other hair care products. Hair loss, hair thinning, dandruff and early whitening of hair are the most common problems faced by people. There are a variety of herbal plants which can be used to promote hair growth which provide natural minerals and oils to our hair in comparison to chemical-based products. The present work is done by formulating and evaluating Hibiscus and flaxseed herbal hair gel. The present study focuses on preparation and evaluation of herbal gel which is full of benefits as compared to other gel. Rich in fatty acids and antioxidants, flaxseed, sometimes referred to as linseed, aids in the removal of pollutants and dead cells from the scalp. Applying flax seed gel to the scalp and hair as a moisturizer can help to promote hair growth and strengthen existing hair. Hibiscus rosa-sinensis is a medicinal plant member belonging to the family Malvaceae. Hibiscus rosa-sinensis is used for the treatment of various diseases including alopecia Herbal hair gels help to overcome the various damages caused by chemical agents in various marketed products.

Over the last few decades, we witnessed a sea change in the social status of women as they came out of their confinements from homes, to work outside and play multiple roles with competence. This could become possible because of spread of education, awareness and skill training among the women but unfortunately, taking up a career came up with a lot of challenges for them. Working women went through a lot of stress and strain in balancing between professional and personal life, unhealthy work place with discriminatory practices and the problem of glass ceiling. Glass ceiling as a metaphor dealt with subtle gender disparities between men and women at workplace. It was an invisible barrier that prevented women from getting high positions in jobs regardless of their eligibility and efficacy. The present paper reviewed various studies on glass ceiling in the West and India and explored its existence across the globe. Findings were content analyzed and possible ways to handle the issue were suggested on the basis of socialization, gender role expectations, psycho-social needs and empowerment of working women.

Dushta Vrana (chronic, non-healing ulcer) is a frequently encountered problem in present era. It is a discontinuity of skin exhibiting loss of epidermis and part of dermis and even sub-cutaneous fat. Produced commonly as a complication of trauma or pathological insult and it causes individual long term suffering. The management of Dushta Vrana is a challenging task to surgeons. Various formulations and methods for management of Dushta Vrana has been described in various Ayurvedic texts. One of these formulations,Saptaparna patra lepa has been studied to evaluate and compare its efficacy with Jalaukavacharan. It is a single blind clinical study; where in 60 screened patients of Dushta Vrana were selected for the study from Shri Shivayogeeshwar Rural Ayurvedic Medical College and Hospital,Inchal. Patients are divided into three groups of 20 each. Clinical signs and symptoms were given suitable grades according to their severity and assessed based on relief, after the treatment and were statistically analyzed with suitable test. Group "A"- Patients were treated with Saptaparna Patra Kalka Lepa application. Group "B" - Patients were treated with Jalaukavacharana Group "C" - Patients were treated with Jalaukavacharana along with Saptaparna Patra Kalka Lepa application The results observed in group "A" and "B" showed gradual improvement where as in group "C" highly significant results were obtained.
