 Abstract

In the current digital age, the rapid spread of misinformation poses significant challenges. To address this issue, this project focuses on developing a Fake or Real News Prediction System using machine learning. The dataset utilized contains news articles labeled as "fake" or "real." The project involves preprocessing the data to enhance quality and applying machine learning algorithms such as Passive Aggressive Classifier, Random Forest, and Decision Tree to train models effectively. The trained models are saved for deployment. A user-friendly Flask web application serves as the interface for users. It features a text area where users can paste the news article they wish to analyze. Upon clicking the "Predict" button, the system uses the trained model to classify the input as either fake or real, and the result is displayed on the same page. This project aims to provide an accessible and efficient solution for identifying fake news, contributing to combating misinformation in digital media.

This project aims to design and develop an advanced Artificial Intelligence (AI)-powered license plate detection system that leverages cutting-edge deep learning techniques for highly accurate and efficient vehicle identification. The core technology behind this system is Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs), a specialized class of deep learning algorithms designed to process visual data. By utilizing CNNs, the system is capable of detecting and extracting license plate information from both static images and real-time video streams with high precision. The system's design focuses on solving key challenges in current vehicle identification processes, such as environmental variability, low-resolution images, and occlusions. By training the CNN models on diverse datasets covering different lighting conditions, angles, and vehicle types, the system can reliably detect license plates even in challenging scenarios like heavy rain, night-time surveillance, or congested urban environments. Additionally, the proposed system supports scalable deployment, allowing integration with existing traffic management systems and security infrastructures. Through its high accuracy and reliability, this AI-powered solution promises to revolutionize vehicle identification, offering significant improvements in efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and public safety across a range of industries.

Intangible in nature, intellectual property rights, or IPR for short, grant creators and inventors the sole right to use their priceless creations. IPR is the main focus of international trade practices and means of subsistence in the current globalization situation. While the lack of IPR understanding and its inadequate execution may impede the nation's economic, technological, and societal advancements, these rights foster innovation by providing creators and inventors with recognition and financial benefits. Therefore, it is imperative that IPR information be disseminated and implemented appropriately in every country. The current article focuses on a number of IPR terminology, including trademarks, inventions, designs for industry, geographic indications, copyright, etc., along with the rules and regulations that go along with them, as well as their importance and function, particularly in the Indian context. Additionally, a brief discussion about India's involvement in IPR-related activities worldwide has been held.

This study examines the savings and investment behaviour of women teachers, focusing on the factors that influence their financial decision-making processes. A mixed-methods approach was employed, combining quantitative surveys and qualitative interviews with female teachers across various educational institutions. The findings reveal that while most women teachers exhibit a disciplined approach to saving, their investment decisions are often shaped by factors such as income stability, financial literacy, and societal expectations. Despite the presence of these influencing factors, many women teachers remain risk-averse when it comes to investment, opting for safer, low-return financial instruments. The study also highlights the role of education and awareness in empowering women to make more informed investment choices.

 Abstract

Abstract Background: A mass casualty incident (MCI) is defined as "an event that overwhelms the local healthcare system, where the number of casualties vastly exceeds the local resources and capabilities in a short period of time." Any MCI can rapidly exhaust available resources for not only the MCI but the normal day-to-day tasks of the hospital. Each hospital should institute a surge plan in preparation for anticipated, progressive, insidious ("notice" events), and sudden-onset ("no-notice" events) disasters occurring within the community. he ability to successfully allocate resources and organize an effective response to an MCI is centered on flexible, integrated communication, and information systems. Objectives : 1) To assess the pre test knowledge level of staff nurses regarding Management of mass casualty incidences. 2) To assess the post test knowledge level of staff nurses regarding Management of mass casualty incidences. 3) To assess the effectiveness of information booklet on knowledge of staff nurses regarding Management of mass casualty incidences. 4) To determine the association between pre test knowledge of staff nurses regarding Management of mass casualty incidences and selected demographic variables Hypothesis: H1- There is a significant difference in the pre test and post test knowledge scores of staff nurses regarding Management of mass casualty incidences. H2- There is a significant association between the pre test knowledge of staff nurses regarding Management of mass casualty incidences and selected demographic variables at the significance level of 0.05. Methodology: The research design consisted of pre experimental research design of one group pretest and post-test design. The population selected for the study was staff nurses of selected hospitals at Bangalore. The study samples were 60 staff nurses and were selected by using purposive sampling technique. The development of the tool involved steps of test construction i.e. preparing the blue print, selection of items, content validation and establishment of reliability. The content validity of the questionnaire was done and modifications were done according to the suggestions given by the experts. Pre testing and reliability of the tools were done. The reliability co efficient of the knowledge questionnaire was found to be 0.893. The tool was found to be reliable. Results: In the Pre test of knowledge regarding Management of mass casualty incidences among Staff nurses that the level of knowledge of Staff nurses before providing information booklet. In that 45(75%) of respondents were have inadequate knowledge, 15(25%) of them have moderate knowledge and no one of respondents have adequate knowledge. Where as posttest 37(61.7%) of staff nurses have adequate knowledge. 23(38.3%) of them have moderate knowledge and 0(0%) of staff nurses were have inadequate knowledge. The means pre-test score was 16.4 and means post test score was 27.2. The difference in knowledge score was 10.8 with percentage gain in knowledge so knowledge was significant after providing information booklet. pre test knowledge regarding management of mass casualty incidences among staff nurses was 16.4 and post test knowledge regarding management of mass casualty incidences among staff nurses was 27.2, which is significant, so there is enough evidence that information booklet is effective in enhancing the knowledge of management of mass casualty incidences among staff nurses. The study was concluded that there was a significant improvement obtained following information booklet on Knowledge regarding management of mass casualty incidences. This study was recommended that there is an immense need for educational programme to improve the knowledge regarding management of mass casualty incidences among staff nurses.

 Abstract

Breast cancer remains one of the most common and aggressive forms of cancer worldwide, with significant morbidity and mortality. Traditional treatments such as surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation therapy have been effective to varying extents, but they often come with significant side effects and can lead to resistance over time. In recent years, immunotherapy has emerged as a promising treatment strategy for various cancer types, including breast cancer. Immunotherapy aims to enhance or restore the body's immune system to recognize and fight cancer cells more effectively. In breast cancer, immunotherapies such as immune checkpoint inhibitors, monoclonal antibodies, and cancer vaccines are being increasingly investigated. This paper reviews the current status of immunotherapy in breast cancer, focusing on its mechanisms, clinical outcomes, challenges, and future potential. The study discusses the efficacy of immune checkpoint inhibitors like Pembrolizumab and Atezolizumab in triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) and HER2-positive breast cancer. Moreover, the role of immune biomarkers, predictive factors for immunotherapy response, and the emerging role of combination therapies are explored.

 Abstract

The growing prevalence of diabetes has sparked greater interest in using medicinal plants as potential treatments. Pharmacognosy, which focuses on bioactive compounds derived from plants, has highlighted several promising antidiabetic species, including Momordica charantia, Cinnamomum verum, and Trigonella foenum-graecum. These plants contain compounds such as flavonoids and alkaloids, which help manage blood glucose levels by enhancing insulin sensitivity, inhibiting digestive enzymes, and protecting pancreatic cells. Advanced methods like HPLC, mass spectrometry, and bioinformatics are facilitating the discovery and understanding of these bioactive compounds. While preclinical studies show promise, challenges remain in areas like standardization, safety, and clinical validation. Nonetheless, pharmacognosy holds great promise in developing natural therapies for diabetes management.
