T.S. Eliot is widely regarded as one of the most influential figures of modernist poetry. His works reflect the intellectual, cultural and spiritual crisis of the early 20th century, characterized by fragmentation, disillusionment and a break from traditional poetic forms. Modernism in Eliot's poetry is marked by a profound exploration of the human psyche, urban alienation, and the loss of spiritual and cultural coherence following the devastations of World War I. His poetry employs complex allusions, mythic references and innovative structures to mirror the fragmented reality of the modern world. One of Eliot's hallmark contributions to modernist poetry is The Waste Land (1922), a dense and allusive poem that epitomizes the disintegration of modern civilization. Through its collage-like structure, multilingual references, and juxtaposition of voices, Eliot presents a world stripped of meaning, where individuals grapple with existential despair. The poem's epigraph from the Satyricon and its closing Sanskrit lines from the Upanishads highlight Eliot's global literary engagement and his search for redemption in ancient wisdom. Another major modernist technique Eliot employs is the objective correlative, a method by which emotion is evoked through a set of objects, situations or events, rather than direct description--evident in The Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock. Eliot's use of irony, ambiguity, and intertextuality is central to modernist poetics. His poems are laden with references to classical literature, religious texts, and contemporary life, demanding an active, intellectual reader. In Prufrock, the persona's neurotic introspection and inability to act encapsulate the paralysis of the modern individual. The poem's stream-of-consciousness technique, shifting perspectives and fragmented monologue illustrate modernist experimentation with form and voice. Themes of spiritual barrenness and the quest for renewal recur in Eliot's later works, particularly in Ash-Wednesday and Four Quartets. These poems reflect a shift from despair toward spiritual reflection and Christian mysticism, yet maintain modernist traits such as dense imagery and philosophical introspection. Eliot's poetry, while deeply modern in its critique of contemporary life, also seeks transcendence, often drawing on religious and mythological frameworks to confront the moral and cultural decay of the modern age. In conclusion, T.S. Eliot's poetry exemplifies the core characteristics of literary modernism--fragmentation, complexity, intertextuality and existential questioning--while also pioneering a poetic language that could articulate the anxieties of a rapidly changing world. His work not only reshaped 20th-century poetry but also continues to challenge and inspire readers and scholars through its layered meanings and profound cultural critique.

Margaret Laurence's The Diviners offers a profound exploration of complex mother-daughter relationships, weaving personal history with broader cultural and social themes. This study investigates the dynamic between Morag Gunn, the protagonist, and her mother, highlighting the emotional and psychological dimensions of their interactions. The novel presents the mother-daughter relationship as a multifaceted and evolving bond marked by love, conflict, misunderstanding and reconciliation. Through Morag's retrospective narration, Laurence delves into themes of identity, belonging, and the intergenerational transmission of trauma and resilience. Morag's relationship with her mother is characterized by emotional distance, shaped by circumstances such as abandonment, societal expectations, and personal ambitions. The absence of Morag's mother during her formative years leads to feelings of neglect and longing, influencing Morag's development and self-perception. Laurence uses this strained relationship to examine how maternal absence or detachment can impact a daughter's quest for identity and autonomy. The narrative also reflects on how Morag's experiences as a mother herself echo the complexities she encountered with her own mother, creating a cyclical pattern of relational challenges. This exploration extends to the broader context of Canadian society and indigenous culture, as The Diviners situates personal relationships within the larger framework of historical displacement, cultural assimilation, and gender roles. Laurence portrays mother-daughter dynamics as deeply affected by social forces, including class, race, and cultural heritage. The novel underscores the negotiation of personal identity amidst these external pressures, illustrating how mother-daughter bonds can simultaneously nurture and constrain individual growth. Laurence's use of stream-of-consciousness narration and fragmented storytelling mirrors the complexity and fluidity of mother-daughter interactions. The narrative structure allows readers to witness Morag's internal struggles and evolving understanding of her mother's choices and limitations. By emphasizing memory and storytelling, The Diviners highlights the role of narrative in reconstructing and making sense of familial relationships. Ultimately, this study reveals that The Diviners presents mother-daughter relationships not as static or idealized but as dynamic processes shaped by emotional ambivalence and historical context. Laurence's nuanced portrayal invites readers to consider the enduring impact of maternal bonds on identity formation, emotional well-being, and the navigation of personal and cultural legacies. The novel contributes to feminist literary discourse by foregrounding female experience and intergenerational connections, making it a significant text for understanding the complexities of motherhood and daughterhood in contemporary literature.

Panchayats in Madhya Pradesh State as a form of grass root structures had historical beginnings yet regional differences were present in their functioning when the State was formed in 1956. The State created by merging Madhya Bharat, Vindhya Pradesh and Bhopal State inherited an assorted system of polity and governance. The laws in operation in the newly consolidated central region were diverse. The process of decentralisation in Madhya Pradesh right from its inception was thus not simple but complex. The Madhya Pradesh government took several steps and initiatives to consolidate and establish an institutionalized local governance system. The Panchayat Acts were enacted to bring uniformity in structure and functions throughout the State. The Madhya Pradesh Panchayat Raj Evam Gram Swaraj Adhiniyam, 1993 marks a defining stage in establishing New Generation Panchayats with a strong integrated three-tier structure in the State. The article highlights and reviews the several ingenious efforts which have given dynamism to decentralisation and makes suggestions to further strengthen the Panchayati Raj in the State.

The Flight Data Acquisition Unit (FDAU) collects discrete, analog, and digital parameters from various aircraft sensors and avionics, forwarding them to the Flight Data Recorder (FDR). Modern systems employ real-time communication and advanced networking to globally monitor aircraft performance. Key sensed parameters include fuel level, pressure, temperature, airspeed, altitude, and vertical acceleration. An interface signal module handles data format and level conversion, while the FPGA based acquisition module supports parallel data collection. This paper presents a configurable data acquisition system using an FPGA+CPU architecture, leveraging FPGA is parallelism to capture diverse flight parameters efficiently. The system is scalable, highly integrated, and suitable for monitoring engine, airframe, and flight parameters, aiding both accident investigation and preventive maintenance.

Kayachikitsa is one of the Astangas of Ayurveda. The Kayachikitsa includes core principles and methods pertinent to the treatment process and practice of internal medicine. The primary focus of the branch of Kayachikitsa is the care of the body (Kaya) through Ayurvedic medicines and principles.1 Skin, the largest organ in the human body, acts as a robust barrier against external threats and plays a crucial role in various inflammatory processes, including immune responses to infections, autoimmune reactions, and allergies. In Ayurveda, any disease impacting the skin is categorized under the term Kushtha. Kushtha is mainly divided into two groups: Mahakushtha and Kshudra Kushtha.2 Sidhma Kushtha is one of the kushtha types within the Mahakushtha category. It is distinguished by its Alabu pushpa varna on the Urapradesh (chest area) and produces a dust-like powder when rubbed.3 This Article describes about a case study of Sidhma kushtha which is managed with Snehapana, Vamana, Bahya prayogas, and Samana Aushadhas

Communication obstacles between the general public and the hearing-impaired community seriously impede accessibility, inclusion, and equal opportunity in a multicultural and multilingual nation like India. Many deaf people use Indian Sign Language (ISL) as their primary form of communication, yet ISL is still not widely understood or used in everyday interactions. In order to close this gap, this project presents an Audio to Indian Sign words (ISL) Converter that allows hearing and non-hearing people to communicate easily by translating spoken words into ISL in real time. Natural language processing (NLP), ISL gesture rendering, and speech recognition make up the system's three main parts. Initially, a speech-to-text engine tailored for regional pronunciations and Indian accents is used to process audio input. After that, the material is condensed and organized using ISL grammar, which is very different from spoken Hindi or English. The matching ISL indicators are mapped to this processed text. Lastly, a 3D animated avatar that can make dynamic motions and non-manual signals like facial expressions or pre-recorded ISL video clips are used to visually represent the signs.
