Pepper bell Plant diseases represent a serious risk to agricultural yields and global food security. Prompt and precise detection is essential for managing these diseases effectively. This study explores the application of machine learning (ML) and image processing techniques to identify and classify diseasesin pepper bell plants. Using a high-resolution dataset of diseased and healthy pepper plant leaves collected under various agricultural conditions, the model categorizes disease types with high precision. Results demonstrate the feasibility of integrating this system into mobile and web platforms for real- time disease monitoring. This approach empowers farmers to reduce crop losses, ensuring sustainable agricultural practices and enhancing food security.

This study investigates the relationship between cognitive style and academic performance among IXth standard students in CBSE and State Government schools. Cognitive style refers to individuals' preferred ways of processing information and solving problems, which can significantly influence learning and academic outcomes. The research examined the cognitive styles of 500 students (250 boys and 250 girls) and their academic performance, employing the Pearson correlation method to analyze the data. The findings indicate no significant gender-based differences in cognitive style, but a strong, statistically significant positive correlation was found between cognitive style and academic performance in both CBSE and State Government schools. These results highlight the importance of tailoring teaching strategies to students' cognitive preferences to enhance their learning outcomes. The study emphasizes the need for more individualized teaching approaches in secondary education, promoting an inclusive learning environment.

Abstract Agricultural laborers constitute one of the most socio-economically deprived communities in India. Chronic poverty, limited education, underemployment, and lack of assets have perpetuated their vulnerability. This study examines the socio-economic conditions of agricultural labourers in Ambalapara Grama Panchayat, Palakkad district, Kerala. Based on primary data from 150 respondents and supplemented by secondary literature, the study reveals long working hours, seasonal employment, low income, and limited youth engagement as dominant concerns. The findings call for targeted policy reforms to address labour welfare, improve education, and incentivize youth participation in agriculture.

The judiciary plays a pivotal role in the promotion and protection of sustainable development, particularly through its oversight of environmental governance mechanisms such as the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA). As one of the fundamental tools of environmental law, EIA serves as a preventive mechanism to ensure that development projects do not adversely affect the environment. In the context of sustainable development--defined broadly as development that meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs--the judiciary acts as the guardian of intergenerational equity, environmental justice, and the rule of law.
