The aging population in India's Empowered Action Group (EAG) states--Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, and Uttarakhand--is increasing significantly, raising concerns about economic dependency and social welfare. This study examines elderly dependency trends using data from Elderly in India 2021 (MoSPI), the Census of India (2001, 2011), and population projections for 2021 and 2031. The results indicate a notable demographic transformation, with the elderly population projected to increase from 32.02 million in 2021 to 76.79 million by 2031. The number of elderly women (39.72 million) is expected to exceed that of men (37.06 million), highlighting gender disparities in aging patterns. Odisha and Uttarakhand have the highest elderly dependency rates, particularly among women, whereas Uttar Pradesh and Bihar maintain lower ratios due to their larger working-age populations. A Spearman's rank correlation analysis reveals a weak association between elderly males and the Old Age Dependency Ratio (OADR) (? = 0.21, p > 0.05), with an even weaker correlation for females (? = 0.057, p > 0.05). These findings suggest that many elderly individuals in EAG states are not entirely dependent on younger generations but benefit from pensions, social security programs, and family support. This study challenges traditional perspectives on elderly dependency, emphasizing the need for policies that enhance healthcare, strengthen social security, and promote gender-sensitive elderly care solutions in EAG states.

This article looks at Margaret Laurence's novel The Diviners through the prism of trauma theory and looks at the broken mind of the main character, Morag Gunn. The goal of this study is to look into how Laurence uses story structure, memory, and identity building to talk about trauma. The paper uses ideas by Judith Herman, Cathy Caruth, and Dominick LaCapra. It says that the novel is a therapeutic story in which being a mother, writing, and telling stories all help people deal with and get over psychological, social, and cultural trauma. The book says this.

Air quality has become an increasingly critical concern due to rapid urbanization and industrialization. Accurate monitoring and prediction of air pollution levels are essential for mitigating health risks and formulating effective environmental policies. This paper presents Deep Air Learning, a novel framework that leverages deep learning techniques to unveil key features responsible for fine-grained air quality monitoring and prediction. By integrating spatial-temporal data, meteorological parameters, and pollutant concentration levels, the proposed model captures complex non-linear relationships inherent in atmospheric dynamics. Feature selection is enhanced through attention mechanisms and layer-wise relevance propagation, ensuring interpretability and robustness. Experimental results on real-world datasets demonstrate the model's superior accuracy in predicting pollutant concentrations such as PM2.5, PM10, NO?, and O? compared to traditional machine learning approaches. This work not only advances the state-of-the-art in environmental AI but also provides actionable insights for policymakers and urban planners aiming to improve public health outcomes.

This study focuses on analyzing job satisfaction among employees in the investment casting industry, where accurate and consistency are necessary. Its purpose is to assess that various factors such as compensation, working status, career development opportunities, job security, managerial support, and work-life balance affect employees satisfaction. Research adopts a descriptive design and uses both primary data through structured questionnaires and interviews, and secondary data from literature and company records. Conclusions suggest that fair compensation and a balanced working life are the most important contributor for job satisfaction. Most of the respondents are men who are 31–35 years old, and earn less than ₹ 25,000. Small employees and engineers report high levels of stress of workplace. Statistical analysis indicates that income significantly affects safety perceptions, while the salary of gender and education has a minimum impact on satisfaction. The study recommends flexible work policies, transparent compensation, assistant leadership and structured career development to improve job satisfaction and organizational performance.

Acquisition of the literacy skills in a second or foreign language is more difficult than acquiring oral proficiency. Literacy in English as a global language and a language of opportunities has become a necessity for the Indian adolescent learners. Motivation plays the most important role in mastering the primary or secondary skills. The term 'mastering's has been juxtaposed with 'learning', as it has been used the conventional way. Mastering includes functioning in the target language through all modes. When exposure to the spoken idiom of the target language is almost nil, when the available input through writing (advertisements, TV etc. ) is rarely made use of, and when teaching-learning gets confined to paraphrase and questions and answers, learner motivation gets reduced to the immediate target, that is performance in the examination. What, in this context, classroom instruction can do is to maximize learner motivation by mimicking the real world experience within the four walls of the ESL classroom. This paper (a) tries to put together a very brief summary of the latest theories and research findings related to motivation within the context of English as a second language (ESL), and (b) argues that reading and writing may be considered as the two sides of the same coin, and not to be segmented in teaching, and (c) proposes a few ways of getting learner motivation enhanced through near-life activities in the class room with special focus on reading and writing.

Oxidative stress, resulting from an imbalance between reactive oxygen species (ROS) and antioxidant defenses, plays a critical role in the pathogenesis of various chronic diseases, including cardiovascular disorders, neurodegeneration, diabetes, and cancer. Allium sativum (garlic), a widely used culinary and medicinal herb, has garnered significant attention for its potent antioxidant properties. This study aims to evaluate the efficacy and underlying mechanisms of A. sativum in mitigating oxidative stress. Phytochemical analysis reveals that garlic contains bioactive compounds such as allicin, diallyl sulfide, and S-allyl cysteine, which exhibit strong free radical scavenging activity. Through in vitro and in vivo models, this research demonstrates that A. sativum enhances the activity of endogenous antioxidant enzymes such as superoxide dismutase (SOD), catalase (CAT), and glutathione peroxidase (GPx), thereby reducing lipid peroxidation and cellular damage. Additionally, garlic modulates signaling pathways related to oxidative stress, including the Nrf2/ARE and NF-?B pathways. The findings support the therapeutic potential of Allium sativum as a natural antioxidant agent and underscore its relevance in the prevention and management of oxidative stress-related diseases. Further clinical studies are warranted to establish standardized dosages and formulations for optimal efficacy. The burden of oxidative stress in human health has prompted the search for safe and effective antioxidant interventions. Allium sativum (garlic), a dietary staple with a long history of medicinal use, is emerging as a natural therapeutic agent in oxidative stress management. This review synthesizes clinical and preclinical data demonstrating garlic's antioxidant efficacy in metabolic syndromes, cardiovascular diseases, and neurodegenerative disorders. Bioactive constituents such as allicin and S-allyl cysteine reduce oxidative biomarkers and restore redox homeostasis. Clinical trials report significant reductions in blood pressure, cholesterol, and inflammatory markers, correlating with improved antioxidant status. The cumulative evidence highlights garlic's potential as a complementary approach to oxidative stress-related disease prevention and treatment, warranting further investigation in large-scale clinical settings.

Abstract: The Princely States in India, ruled as sub-ordinates to the Colonial British, witnessed the Colonial Modernity. This influence is evident in the art and culture with the emergence of academic naturalism, often overlooking indigenous artistic traditions, and the evolution of architecture employing Neo-Classical style. The style, adopted by the nobles and the Nizams, replaced vernacular havelis and pavilions. Photography found its way into Indian province as a medium for ethnographic, anthropological, and historical documentation. With the interest in European flamboyance, the Nizams, nobles, and wealthy merchants co-existed with the British Colonial power. The introduction of photography in India showcased its own dominance over developing artistic traditions such as Portrait Painting. Lala Deen Dayal, who became the official photographer of the Nizam opened studios, and R.W. Deuskar and S.D.Satwalekar established first art studio in Hyderabad in 1901. Thus, this paper will discuss the shifts in Architecture, photography and art specially focusing on the Princely State of Hyderabad. It also elaborates on the socio-political conditions that drove the history of the Nizam's courts and palaces, and documentation by Raja Deen Dayal. The paper also discusses about emergence of Academic art by Ramakrishna Waman Deuskar and others.

Advertisement is a means of communication through which any kind of services, event, brand and product etc. is made available to the general public. Through advertising, the public's attention is attracted so that it gets influenced by the advertisement and gets complete information about that product and buys it.Advertisements should be simple, clear, effective, informative and concise. Now a day, everything like phone number, what's App number, email address etc, is written in the advertisements, due to which any person can easily get the information related to the advertisement by taking a photo of it. In the city of Vadodara, mostly people are fond of all new items like clothes, shoes, jewellary, to be purchased from the market and for that they read and see the advertisements in the newspaper, Television, local Gujarati channels, etc. For any other information regarding the education, coaching institutes, they read the newspapers. In the modern era of mass communication revolution, the relationship between journalism and advertising has become very important. If a journalist of all aspect related to advertising, than he is successful in doing his work with full efficiency.
