 Abstract

The study focuses on improving the engineering properties of clay soil a commonly used but moisture-sensitive material in construction by using eggshell powder, an industrial waste, as a stabilizer. Eggshell powder was mixed with clay soil in varying proportions to evaluate changes in index properties, compaction, and shear strength. The aim was to enhance soil strength while promoting environmental sustainability by reusing waste materials, thus reducing disposal issues and environmental hazards. Experimental results were compared to untreated soil to assess effectiveness.

Crumb rubber modification has gained significant attention in the field of bituminous materials and asphalt mixtures. This abstract provides an overview of the key aspects related to regular bitumen (RM) and Crumb Rubber Modified Bituminous Mix (CRMB Mix). CRMB is a novel asphalt binder that incorporates recycled rubber particles, offering improved performance characteristics and sustainability. CR Mix, on the other hand, represents the use of CRMB in bitumen mixtures, which enhances their durability, resistance to cracking, and reduced environmental impact. This abstract discusses the composition, production methods, properties, benefits, and challenges associated with CRMB and CR Mix, highlighting their potential to revolutionize the road construction industry by promoting eco-friendly and high-performance pavement solutions.

Herbal whitening creams are topical products that aim to lighten and even out skin tone, reducing the appearance of dark spots, hyperpigmentation, and melanin content. The benefits of using herbal whitening cream are assist in minimizing pigmentation and fine wrinkles, nourishes skin and encourages immediate luminosity, optimises skin tone and hydration throughout the day, shield the skin from damaging UV radiation.

 Abstract

This study explores Bitcoin price prediction using a Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) network, addressing the limitations of traditional methods in volatile financial markets. Hourly Bitcoin closing prices from a year's data are preprocessed and used to train the LSTM model, configured with two LSTM layers, dropout for regularization, and a Dense output layer. A 60-hour time step is used to predict the next hour's price. The model, trained with the Adam optimizer and mean squared error loss, demonstrates reasonable accuracy in predicting Bitcoin prices. Results highlight LSTM's potential for financial forecasting, suggesting future improvements by incorporating additional market features like trading volume. This work establishes a foundation for advanced deep learning models in cryptocurrency markets, adept at handling their inherent non-linearity and volatility.

 Abstract

The increasing global focus on preventive healthcare has led to a resurgence of interest in herbal remedies that enhance immune function. This study involves the formulation and evaluation of an immunity booster herbal syrup using natural ingredients known for their immunomodulatory, antioxidant, and antimicrobial properties. The syrup comprises Moringa oleifera, ginger (Zingiber officinale), cinnamon (Cinnamomum verum), turmeric (Curcuma longa), clove (Syzygium aromaticum), black pepper (Piper nigrum), and jaggery as a natural sweetener. These ingredients have been individually reported to possess significant pharmacological properties beneficial to the immune system. For instance, Moringa oleifera is rich in essential vitamins and antioxidants that support immune regulation. Ginger and turmeric exhibit potent anti-inflammatory and antiviral activities, while cinnamon and clove contribute antimicrobial and antioxidant benefits. Black pepper enhances the bioavailability of curcumin from turmeric, thus improving therapeutic efficacy. Jaggery, besides improving palatability, provides essential micronutrients. The final formulation offers a synergistic blend designed to boost immune function naturally. Preliminary observations suggest the syrup is palatable, stable, and potentially effective in enhancing general immunity, warranting further in- vivo studies.

 Abstract

Mangrove ecosystems are highly productive and serve as vital habitats for a wide range of faunal communities, including gastropods, which play important ecological roles. This study investigates the diversity, distribution and ecological significance of gastropods in the Ayiramthengu Mangrove Ecosystem, located in Kollam District, Kerala, India. Field surveys were conducted from October 2024 to March 2025 to document gastropod species across various microhabitats, including pneumatophores, muddy substrates, and mangrove trunks. Specimens were identified based on their morphological characteristics. Preliminary findings reveal a diverse assemblage of gastropod taxa, predominantly from the families Muricidae, Bursidae, Cerithioidea, and Babyloniidae. Notable species such as Telescopium telescopium, Babylonia spirata, Babylonia zeylanica, Bufonaria echinata, Tibia curta, and Neritina pulligera exhibit unique adaptations to the dynamic conditions of the mangrove environment. This study contributes valuable baseline data on the gastropod diversity of the Ayiramthengu Mangrove Ecosystem and underscores the urgent need for conservation efforts to protect this ecologically important and unique biodiverse ecosystem.

Shekhawati Art: The Evolution of Traditional Motifs and Cultural Narratives Deepak Kumar Khandelwal1, Ramratan Guru2 1Research Scholar, School of Design, Mody University of Science and Technology, Laxmangarh, Rajasthan 2Assistant Professor Level III, School of Design, Mody University of Science and Technology, Laxmangarh, Rajasthan Abstract Shekhawati, which lies in Rajasthan, India, has been known for its art scene for hundreds of years; the glorious frescoes and murals adorning havelis, temples and cenotaphs. These artworks have been characterized by their bold use of color palettes and intricate arrangements of motifs, which have served as a visual chronicle of the socio-cultural, religious, and historical narratives of the region. These paintings found their emergence in the 18th and 19th centuries whence they made their way through support from rich merchant families as a unique blend of native, Mughal and European influences. Art is a cultural phenomenon that has undergone a critical evolution; in this context, the present study has assessed Shekhawati art of the past, highlighting the changes observed in the meanings and symbolisms weaved in traditional motifs. Overview: These motifs are analyzed to preserve the identity, belief system and heritage of the region. The selected works demonstrate the shift of these familiar patterning systems into textile fields, as well as the recontextualization of heritage in modern-day creative code. And of course, the myriad dangers to this disappearing tradition, such as environmental degradation, urban sprawl, and the decrease in local interest, have also been tackled. Each of such measures helps in revival and sustainability of Shekhawati art like heritage tourism, digital documentation, use of traditional patterns in modern textile and fashion design etc. This way, the study offered richer insights into the ways cultural memory and artistic performativity travel and are re-enacted across different generations and artistic media.

 Abstract

The emergence of the internet gave rise to a communication tool that we now know as emoticons, which later developed into emojis. Emojis have developed into the condensed form of nonverbal communication. People occasionally even make assumptions about other people's attitudes based on the emojis they use. This has emerged as a contemporary communication trend. Emojis are a way for people to express themselves on social media. Emojis are a type of pictograph. This Japanese term translates to "emotions" or "emotional symbols" in english. Emojis are a graphical representation and the next evolution of emoticons. Emojis have become commonplace, and for a variety of reasons, communication through social media and other online platforms is different from face-to-face communication. In the virtual environments where students engage, emojis are effective tools for fostering relationships, self-expression, and emotional connection. The student population is increasingly using emojis instead of text messages. This study explores the role of emojis in enhancing and altering communication within the student community. Drawing upon the theoretical framework of Uses and Gratification Theory , this research investigates how emojis function as visual symbols that convey emotions, tone, and meaning in online interactions.

 Abstract

Pneumonia is a common acute respiratory infection that affects the alveoli and distal airways. Pneumonia is broadly divided into community-acquired pneumonia or hospital-acquired pneumonia. A large variety of microorganisms can cause pneumonia, including bacteria, respiratory viruses and fungi, and there are great geographical variations in their prevalence. Individuals with pneumonia often present with respiratory and systemic symptoms, and diagnosis is based on both clinical presentation and radiological findings. Pneumonia occurs more commonly in susceptible individuals, including children of <5 years of age and older adults with prior chronic conditions. Development of the disease largely depends on the host immune response, with pathogen characteristics having a less prominent role. Individuals with pneumonia often present with respiratory and systemic symptoms, and diagnosis is based on both clinical presentation and radiological findings. It is crucial to identify the causative pathogens, as delayed and inadequate antimicrobial therapy can lead to poor outcomes. A 71 yrs male patient was admitted in a Multispeciality hospital due to cough with mucoid expectoration, fever for 4 days & breathlessness for 2 days. On examination of his vitals, it's shown that his temperature, pulse rate, respiratory rate, SPO2 are not within the normal limit and on further investigation he was diagnosed as Right Lower Lobe Pneumonia. After starting the treatment, all his vitals remained stable & discharged after 5 days with in the instruction to follow-up the medication.
