 Abstract

The digital transformation of organizations has significantly reshaped talent acquisition and employee retention practices. Advances in artificial intelligence (AI), big data analytics, cloud computing, social media, and digital recruitment platforms have revolutionized how organizations attract, select, develop, and retain talented employees. In today's knowledge-driven economy, human capital is increasingly recognized as a strategic resource that provides sustainable competitive advantage. Organizations must therefore adopt innovative talent management strategies to compete effectively in a dynamic global labor market. This article systematically reviews the literature on talent acquisition and retention strategies in the digital era, examining contemporary recruitment technologies, employer branding, employee engagement, learning and development, flexible work arrangements, diversity and inclusion, and HR analytics. The study highlights both the opportunities and challenges associated with digital talent management, including cybersecurity risks, skills shortages, algorithmic bias, employee expectations, and ethical concerns surrounding AI-based recruitment. The findings suggest that organizations integrating digital technologies with employee-centered HR strategies achieve superior recruitment outcomes, stronger employee commitment, lower turnover, and enhanced organizational performance. The article concludes by recommending strategic approaches that combine technological innovation with inclusive leadership, continuous learning, and evidence-based HR practices to ensure long-term workforce sustainability.

 Abstract

The rapid advancement of digital technologies has transformed nearly every sector of society, including education. The integration of digital tools, online learning environments, artificial intelligence, and open educational resources has significantly redefined traditional methods of teaching and learning. Digital transformation has enabled greater flexibility, accessibility, and innovation in education systems worldwide. However, despite these advancements, issues of gender disparity and unequal access to digital resources continue to persist, particularly in developing countries and marginalized communities. This paper explores how digital transformation in education can contribute to promoting gender parity and inclusive education while addressing the challenges posed by the digital divide. The study highlights the role of digital technologies in expanding educational opportunities for girls, women, and learners with diverse needs, including those with disabilities. At the same time, it critically examines barriers such as unequal access to technology, socio-cultural constraints, limited digital literacy, and infrastructural challenges that may hinder inclusive participation in digital learning environments. Drawing upon contemporary research and policy frameworks, the paper proposes strategies for creating gender-responsive and inclusive digital learning ecosystems. These strategies include equitable access to digital infrastructure, teacher capacity building, inclusive digital pedagogy, gender-sensitive curriculum design, and the use of assistive technologies. The paper concludes that digital transformation has immense potential to reshape education into a more equitable and inclusive system if supported by appropriate policies, inclusive practices, and collaborative efforts among stakeholders.

 Abstract

Retail and institutional investors are increasingly choosing debt mutual funds as an investment avenue to achieve stable returns, diversify their portfolio and manage risk effectively. The performance is mainly affected by the changes in the interest rates, especially the monetary policy actions of Reserve Bank of India (RBI). As interest rates fall, bond prices rise and so does the NAV of debt mutual funds. But the impact is not the same across all types of debt funds and varies with factors such as duration of portfolio, quality of credit and fund management strategies. This study is an attempt to study the performance of selected debt mutual funds in India during the period 2019-2025, which covers the pandemic induced monetary easing, the subsequent tightening cycle and the recent shift towards declining interest rates. The study is based on four major categories of debt mutual funds, Gilt Funds, Corporate Bond Funds, Long Duration Funds and Liquid Funds to understand the return characteristics of debt mutual funds in different interest rate scenarios. This study is based on secondary data collected from authentic sources like Reserve Bank of India (RBI), Association of Mutual Funds in India (AMFI), Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), mutual fund fact sheets and published financial reports. The quantitative research methods and the descriptive analysis have been used to evaluate the fund performance and risk adjusted returns. The statistical tools such as Standard Deviation, Sharpe Ratio, Beta, Correlation, Regression and Hypothesis Testing have been used for the evaluation. The results shows that Long Duration and Gilt Funds outperform in terms of capital appreciation in falling interest rate cycle due to their high duration sensitivity while Corporate Bond Funds outperform in terms of risk adjusted returns in falling interest rate cycle due to stable accrual income and lower volatility. The study also highlights that bond markets often price in RBI policy actions before the announcement, reducing the effectiveness of reactive investment strategies. The study suggests that investors should align their selection of debt mutual funds with their existing interest rate expectations and investment goals, taking into account duration risk, credit quality and portfolio diversification

 Abstract

The present study explores the relationship between career maturity, gender and family climate among senior secondary school students. Career maturity is defined as an individual's degree of readiness to navigate, plan, and execute vocational decisions. Career maturity is the on-going developmental readiness required to make informed and appropriate occupational decisions. Gender refers to male and female senior secondary school students. The familial atmosphere acts as a key determinant in fostering adolescent career maturity. Constructive familial environments characterized by emotional backing, dialogue, and independence heavily foster adolescents' career readiness. On the other hand, environments that are restrictive, unsupportive, or conflicted can hinder the development of essential career-related skills. Therefore, the present investigation was carried out to study the career maturity of senior secondary school students in relation to gender and family climate. A descriptive survey method of research was employed for the study. A sample of 819 senior secondary school students was selected by employing random sampling technique. Data were collected by using standardized research tool i.e. career maturity inventory by Nirmala Gupta and family climate scale developed by investigator himself. Descriptive statistic and Analysis of Variance were applied to analyze the data. Female senior secondary school students demonstrated higher level of career maturity as compared to their male counterparts. Senior secondary school students belonging to good, average and poor family climate do not differ significantly from each other with regard to their level of career maturity. Gender and family climate have a significant interactional effect on career maturity of senior secondary school students.

 Abstract

Abstract Women's socio-political status is a fundamental measure of democratic governance, gender equality, and sustainable development. Although constitutional provisions and government welfare programmes have been introduced to promote the empowerment of tribal women in India, many indigenous women continue to encounter social, economic, and political barriers that limit their participation in decision-making and development processes. This study investigates the major challenges affecting the socio-political status of Sonowal Kachari women in the Tengakhat Development Block of Dibrugarh District, Assam, and examines the effectiveness of existing policy interventions in improving their overall well-being. A descriptive research design was adopted using both primary and secondary data. Primary data were collected through structured questionnaires and field interviews with Sonowal Kachari women, while secondary information was obtained from scholarly books, peer-reviewed journals, government reports, Census publications, and official policy documents. The findings reveal that inadequate educational opportunities, limited access to employment, economic dependence, low levels of political participation, insufficient awareness of legal rights and welfare schemes, and entrenched patriarchal norms continue to hinder the empowerment of Sonowal Kachari women. Although several government initiatives have contributed to improving their socio-economic conditions, their overall impact remains constrained by inadequate implementation, limited outreach, and low public awareness. The study recommends strengthening education and skill development, increasing awareness of legal and welfare provisions, encouraging women's leadership in local governance, and improving the implementation and monitoring of gender-responsive policies. These measures are essential for enhancing the socio-political status of Sonowal Kachari women and promoting inclusive and sustainable development in the Tengakhat Development Block.

It is primarily composed of cement, water, coarse aggregates, and fine aggregates such as natural sand. Among these components, fine aggregate plays a crucial role in filling voids, improving workability, and contributing to the overall strength of concrete. However, the rapid growth in construction activities has led to an excessive demand for natural sand, resulting in environmental degradation, depletion of natural resources, and increased costs. This situation has created a need to explore alternative materials that can partially replace fine aggregates in concrete without compromising its performance.

 Abstract

This paper critically examines the gap between media representations of gender and the lived realities of people in Kerala. Although Kerala is widely recognized for its high literacy, social development, and progressive outlook, media narratives continue to reproduce patriarchal norms, gender stereotypes, and unequal power relations. Using feminist media theory, framing theory, representation theory, and intersectional feminism, the study analyzes gender portrayals in Malayalam cinema, television serials, news media, and digital platforms. It explores how women are frequently represented through traditional roles, while transgender, queer, and marginalized caste identities remain underrepresented, stereotyped, or excluded. The paper also highlights the emergence of feminist journalism, digital activism, and independent media as important spaces for challenging dominant narratives and promoting inclusive representation. Through selected case studies, the research demonstrates how media influences public perceptions of gender, morality, and social justice. The study concludes that achieving gender equity in Kerala requires gender-sensitive media policies, inclusive storytelling, diverse newsroom representation, and media literacy initiatives. Such measures can help transform media into a platform that reflects social diversity and advances equality rather than reinforcing existing inequalities
