 Abstract

The management of digital identity is undergoing a significant transformation, moving away from centralized and federated models towards the user-centric paradigm of Self-Sovereign Identity (SSI). SSI aims to empower individuals with greater control, privacy, and security over their personal data. This paper presents a comparative analysis of prominent SSI solutions and related platforms, including Privado ID, Hyperledger Indy, Sovrin, the uPort ecosystem (Serto and Veramo), Jolocom, Sora ID, ShoCard (as integrated by Ping Identity), Wipro Dice ID, and Curity Identity Server. The analysis employs a framework evaluating key criteria such as underlying architecture, governance models, adherence to standards (W3C DIDs and VCs), core features, security and privacy mechanisms, interoperability potential, scalability considerations, and ecosystem maturity. The research outcomes indicate a notable heterogeneity in technological methodologies, encompassing dedicated distributed ledger technology (DLT)-based networks as well as integrated functionalities within pre-existing identity and access management (IAM) platforms. The dynamics of the market, including the anticipated cessation of the Sovrin MainNet, the progressive development of uPort, and strategic acquisitions such as the procurement of ShoCard by Ping Identity, play a pivotal role in shaping the ecosystem. Notwithstanding advancements in standardization, obstacles pertaining to interoperability, user-friendliness, key management, governance, and regulatory compliance continue to endure. This manuscript provides a comprehensive analysis of the contemporary landscape of self-sovereign identity (SSI) solutions, elucidating their distinguishing characteristics and the challenges that hinder their extensive adoption.

 Abstract

Parcel Guard is a smart delivery box solution designed to securely receive parcels when no one is available at home .There are a lot of problems with internet shopping, missed deliveries, and package theft. User Parcel Guard addressed this by using a combination of IoT and embedded systems, allowing authorized household members to remotely control a secure, weatherresistant delivery box via a smartphone app Blynk. When a delivery person arrives, they contact the homeowner, who can then remotely unlock the box, allowing the package to be placed securely inside the compartment one of the box. The system leverages a Raspberry Pi Model 4 as the main controller, which manages the communication between the microcontroller for Wi-Fi connectivity and the smartphone app. A servomotor lock ensures that the box remains securely closed until the owner locks or unlocks it via the Blynk app. Upon a successful parcel deposit, the system sends a real-time notification to the owner, providing confirmation of delivery and enabling them to lock the box again for added security. This seamless solution allows the user to retrieve their parcel at their convenience, offering peace of mind by integrating the IoT, cloud connectivity, and mobile-based remote control for a secure and flexible delivery experience.

 Abstract

Validation of sterile and non-sterile pharmaceutical facilities is essential to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and maintain product quality. Sterile facilities require stringent validation to prevent contamination, including cleanroom design, HVAC systems, personnel gowning, and media fill simulations. Non-sterile facilities focus on contamination control with less stringent requirements, such as cleaning validation and bioburden control. Both types require thorough documentation, environmental monitoring, and risk-based assessments. This article discusses the validation processes, regulatory expectations, and common pitfalls, such as inadequate documentation and inconsistent cleaning cycles, emphasizing the importance of maintaining safety and compliance in pharmaceutical manufacturing.

 Abstract

The present research has systematic approach to synthesized a series of benzothiazolyl and benzimidazolyl substituted derivatives and to study their antimicrobial activity. The compounds were synthesized by green chemistry technique. i.e. 2-(2-(5-methyl-2,4-dihydro-3H-pyrazol-3-ylidene) hydrazinyl)benzothiazole. , 5-methyl-N-(2-phenylthiazol-5-yl)-2,4-dihydro-3H-pyrazol-3-imine. , 5-methyl-N-Phenyl-2,4-dihydro-3H-pyrazol-3-imine. , N'-(5-methyl-2,4-dihydro-3H-pyrazol-3-ylidene)isonictinohydrazide., N'-(5-methyl-2,4-dihydro-3H-pyrazol-3-ylidene)benzohrdrazide., and 2-hydroxy-N'-(5-methyl-2,4-dihydro-3Hpyrazol-3-ylidene)benzohydrazide. Antimicrobial study of these series of compounds was implemented with respect to Klebsiella pneumoniae, Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus. Structures of all the newly synthesized compounds were confirmed by their IR, 1H-NMR analysis. The selected compounds may be used to design more potent biologically active compounds.

 Abstract

The most dominant feature of the post colonial literature is its reference to the colonial fear that evolved as a recurrent theme in their narratives. The anxieties, exploitation, and psychological oppression experienced by colonized individuals or communities under colonial imperialist are manifested in the form of fear as the undercurrent force in their writings. The imposition of a foreign regime, their religious principles, cultural erasure, displacement, and direct violence manufactured certain amount of fear in the minds of colonized which remains as an incurable ailment. The loss of language, culture and identity, the power structure and societal constraints of the colonizer, the law enforcement that mitigates the local interest, lead to the mistrust and as a result the fear elements emerge. Gender dynamics shape gender roles, identities, and the power structures and the female writers like Grace Ogot critically examine the ways in which colonialism reinforced patriarchy. The thrust of this paper would be to show how Grace Ogot's The Green Leaves,(1968) critiques the colonial fears, greed , gender dynamics and justice are intertwined leaving women in the periphery.

 Abstract

In Agra, a city rich in history and renowned for its iconic sites such as the taj mahal and Agra fort, this research investigates the impact of the smart city mission (SCM) on tourism development and the promotion of sustainability. Although Agra attracts millions of tourists annually, it faces challenges including pollution, traffic congestion, outdated infrastructure, and inadequate urban services, all of which negatively affect both residents and visitors. This study explores the implementation of SCM strategies aimed at tackling these issues and improving the overall travel experience through digitalization, intelligent infrastructure, sustainability efforts, and community involvement. The aim of this study is to assess the tangible impacts of supply chain management (scm) strategies on the tourism services and heritage conservation in Agra. Additionally, it examines visitor satisfaction, compares Agra's progress with that of other smart heritage cities, and identifies best practices along with policy recommendations for the advancement of sustainable tourism. The results are expected to be highly beneficial for policymakers, urban planners, and tourism stakeholders who seek to align smart city goals with heritage preservation and inclusive urban development.

 Abstract

Background: Extensive studies have revealed that smoking affects far more than just physical health--it impacts emotional well-being, relationships, and overall quality of life. At home, it can create tension, with loved ones constantly worrying about second-hand smoke, health risks, and the emotional toll of seeing someone struggle. Outside the home, smoking can affect friendships, social interactions or team dynamics strained. What starts as a personal habit often becomes a shared burden, affecting everyone in its path. Beyond the individual, community actions are critical in supporting those trying to quit. With the right resources, support, and understanding, quitting becomes more than just a health decision--it's an opportunity to rebuild trust, strengthen relationships, and create a better, more connected life for everyone involved. Objectives: To find their perspective on how smoking affects the physical activity. To find relation between age and average number of cigarettes. To find determination of people to quit smoking. Methodology: 30 participants were taken for data collection. Questionnaire which contained 1 7 questions regarding effects of smoking on individuals was used. Results: The bar and line graph revealed that participants who smoked more cigarettes per day reported higher levels of shortness of breath and experienced greater difficulty in performing daily tasks. Additionally, based on the pie chart showing recovery duration, the majority of individuals required less than 30 minutes to recover after smoking-related discomfort, with only a small fraction needing more than 60 minutes. Conclusion: The findings suggest a clear association between higher smoking frequency and increased respiratory discomfort, as well as reduced ability to perform daily activities. Younger adults smoked more frequently, indicating a need for targeted early intervention and awareness programs. Despite short recovery times in most cases, the presence of shortness of breath in regular smokers underscores the subtle but significant impact of smoking on quality of life.
