Abstract: This paper explores the critical role of lexical chunks in facilitating effective communication within official correspondence. Drawing upon a corpus of 40,626 words extracted from 250 official documents spanning seven sub-disciplines of office communication, the study analyzes recurring lexical patterns using AntConc software and identifies 100 common lexical chunks. Through detailed examination, representative lexical chunks are investigated for their usage and contextual nuances. The findings emphasize the centrality of lexical cohesion and coherence in promoting clarity, conciseness, and professionalism in formal communication settings. This research contributes to understanding the linguistic dynamics of official correspondence and offers practical insights for language educators, office correspondence trainers, government officials, and legal practitioners.

Abstract: India has witnessed a growing interest in promoting women's participation in sports, and several government policies over the past two decades reflect this shift. From financial incentives to training schemes and infrastructure grants, there is no shortage of official promises. The decade spanning 2016 to 2026 represents a transformative period for Indian sports, marked by unprecedented international podium finishes by female athletes alongside significant structural policy shifts. This paper presents a critical analysis of women's sports participation in India by evaluating the direct interplay between national budget allocations, policy interventions, and athletic achievements over this ten-year timeline. Utilizing a mixed-methods research framework, the study synthesizes secondary data from the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports (MYAS) budget documents, scheme-wise financial outlays, and performance metrics across major international events--including the Olympic Games, Asian Games, and Commonwealth Games. The analysis specifically examines key government initiatives, notably the Khelo India Scheme, the Target Olympic Podium Scheme (TOPS), and the Scheme of Assistance to National Sports Federations. Findings indicate that targeted financial support, monthly stipends, and specialized foreign coaching under elite-centric programs like TOPS have yields high returns, significantly elevating female medal contributions on the global stage. Simultaneously, grassroots talent identification through Khelo India has expanded the participation pipeline for women, particularly from non-metropolitan and rural backgrounds. However, the study highlights critical systemic bottlenecks: a persistent deficit in gender-disaggregated budgetary allocation, severe regional disparities in access to specialized training infrastructure, and a stark underrepresentation of women in sports governance, administration, and high-performance coaching. The paper concludes with strategic policy recommendations, advocating for mandatory gender-budgeting frameworks within MYAS, decentralized regional training hubs, and targeted incentives for private sector investment (CSR) to build an equitable and sustainable ecosystem for women in Indian sports. Marriage includes one or more men and women and has natural (sexual) and relational features that are socially and legally acknowledged. Marriage is an essential institution that acknowledges gender relationships. Marriage is a social institution with rights and responsibilities, unlike biological mating. It organizes society sexuality via residential cohabitation, socio-economic collaboration, and shared duties. Marriage is generally seen as a contract between two persons, especially in maturity, reflecting cultural and ethnic differences. Different civilizations practice monogamy, polygamy, polygyny, and polyandry.

Solar-powered DC motors are widely used in renewable energy applications because of their high efficiency, simple construction, and environmental benefits. However, achieving accurate speed and performance control under varying solar irradiation and load conditions remains a significant challenge. This paper presents a simulation study of an Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based Adaptive Neuro-Fuzzy Inference System (ANFIS) for the control of solar-powered DC motors. The proposed ANFIS controller is designed to adapt to changing operating conditions and improve the dynamic response of the motor. The performance of the controller is evaluated through simulation under different operating scenarios and is assessed using parameters such as speed tracking accuracy, energy efficiency, response time, and system stability. The simulation results demonstrate that the ANFIS-based control strategy provides improved performance, enhanced reliability, and better adaptability compared with conventional control methods. The proposed approach contributes to the development of intelligent and energy-efficient motor control systems for sustainable renewable energy applications.

Urban areas are increasingly exposed to compounding hazards--flooding, heatwaves, infrastructure strain, and climate driven extremes--at a pace that outstrips the static, threshold-based monitoring systems most cities still rely on. Over the last five years, the convergence of the Internet of Things with artificial intelligence, popularly termed AIoT, together with the maturation of digital twin technology, has been proposed as the technical foundation for a new generation of urban resilience infrastructure capable of sensing, reasoning about, and intervening in city-scale hazards in near real time. This review critically synthesizes the literature on AIoT-enabled digital twins for urban resilience across four interdependent layers: sensing and multi-source data fusion, adaptive and self-learning prediction, explainable and causal decision support, and domain deployment in flood, water, and disaster-management contexts. Drawing on 46 peer-reviewed studies published predominantly between 2020 and 2026 in IEEE, Elsevier, Springer, ACM, MDPI, and Wiley venues, the review develops a layered taxonomy of the field, compares architectural and algorithmic approaches across scalability, adaptability, explainability, interoperability, sustainability, and security and trust, and identifies where the literature remains fragmented. The analysis shows that reliability-aware sensor fusion, concept-drift-aware learning, and counterfactual or causal reasoning have each matured as independent research threads, yet are rarely integrated within a single, continuously operating urban resilience system. The review closes by outlining the resulting research gaps and the directions they open for future work.

University libraries across West Bengal are standing at a transformative crossroads, evolving from traditional, print-centric repositories into dynamic, AI-enabled knowledge hubs. This paper critically examines the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI)--encompassing Natural Language Processing (NLP), Machine Learning (ML), Generative AI (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), and Robotic Process Automation (RPA)--within the higher education ecosystem of West Bengal. Through a mixed-methods empirical approach, this study analyzes technical infrastructure readiness, financial models, and human capital constraints across state, central, and private universities in the region. It places special emphasis on regional challenges, including the digitization and full-text searchability of rare Bengali and Sanskrit manuscripts. Finally, the paper outlines a multi-tiered, open-source-first strategic roadmap tailored to the socio-economic realities of West Bengal's academic institutions.
