ABSTRACT Background: Diet (Ahara) is one of the three fundamental pillars (Trayopastambha) of life described in Ayurveda and plays a vital role in maintaining health and preventing disease.[1-3] Among the various dietary principles, Nitya Sevaniya Dravyas denote wholesome food substances recommended for regular consumption to maintain physiological equilibrium, enhance immunity, and promote longevity.[1,3] Although these dietary articles have been extensively described in classical Ayurvedic literature, their relevance in the context of modern nutrition and preventive medicine warrants comprehensive evaluation.[1-5] Objective: To critically review the classical concept of Nitya Sevaniya Dravyas and correlate their Ayurvedic attributes with contemporary scientific evidence regarding their nutritional composition and health-promoting properties. Materials and Methods: A narrative review was undertaken using classical Ayurvedic texts, including the Charaka Samhita, Sushruta Samhita, Ashtanga Hridaya, and major Nighantus.[1-8] Modern evidence was collected from peer-reviewed scientific literature indexed in PubMed, Scopus, and Google Scholar, together with standard nutritional references including the Indian Food Composition Tables (2017).[9] Classical descriptions were critically analysed and correlated with current nutritional and biomedical evidence. Results: Classical texts recommend twenty-one Nitya Sevaniya Dravyas, including cereals, legumes, fruits, leafy vegetables, dairy products, honey, rock salt, and wholesome animal foods.[1-8] These dietary substances possess favourable Rasa, Guna, Virya, and Vipaka, contributing to the maintenance of Agni, nourishment of Dhatus, enhancement of Ojas, and equilibrium of the Doshas.[1-3] Contemporary evidence demonstrates that many of these foods are rich sources of complex carbohydrates, dietary fibre, high-quality proteins, vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, and phytochemicals possessing anti-inflammatory, immunomodulatory, cardioprotective, and metabolic regulatory activities.[9-18] Conclusion: The Ayurvedic concept of Nitya Sevaniya Dravyas represents a scientifically relevant dietary model integrating traditional wisdom with evidence-based nutrition and preventive healthcare. Regular consumption of these wholesome dietary substances may contribute to reducing the burden of lifestyle-related disorders while promoting long-term health and well-being. Further clinical and translational research is required to validate their therapeutic potential in evidence-based integrative medicine.

Frozen food fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) distribution depends on retail outlet readiness as much as on manufacturers, transporters and distributors. In urban Indian markets, the outlet is the final cold-chain link, where infrastructure, handling practices, ordering discipline and distributor coordination shape product quality, availability and delivery reliability. This paper examines the effect of outlet attributes on Supply Chain Management (SCM) effectiveness in frozen food FMCG distribution in Hyderabad and Secunderabad. The study considers five outlet dimensions: cold-storage infrastructure, handling and safety capability, ordering and inventory capability, outlet accessibility and convenience, and outlet image and service quality. SCM effectiveness is assessed through delivery reliability, responsiveness, stock availability, wastage control, coordination, information sharing and cost efficiency. Using a quantitative, explanatory, cross-sectional design based on 384 outlets, the study applies SPSS and SmartPLS. Findings show that all five dimensions positively affect SCM effectiveness, with ordering and inventory capability as the strongest predictor.

Ovarian malignancies comprise a heterogeneous group of neoplasms with diverse histopathological features, biological behavior, and clinical outcomes, making their diagnosis and management particularly challenging. This case series presents fifteen patients with different histological subtypes of ovarian malignancies, including high-grade serous carcinoma, mucinous carcinoma, endometrioid carcinoma, clear cell carcinoma, transitional cell carcinoma, malignant Brenner tumor, carcinosarcoma, granulosa cell tumor, dysgerminoma, yolk sac tumor, immature teratoma, squamous cell carcinoma arising in mature cystic teratoma, and small cell carcinoma of the ovary. Most patients presented with nonspecific symptoms such as abdominal pain, abdominal distension, pelvic mass, early satiety, and weight loss. Radiological imaging and serum tumor markers aided preoperative evaluation; however, definitive diagnosis was established through histopathological examination supported by immunohistochemistry. Comprehensive surgical staging followed by histology-directed adjuvant therapy constituted the primary treatment approach. The series emphasizes the crucial role of meticulous histopathological assessment in distinguishing morphologically similar tumors, identifying rare variants, and guiding appropriate management. Early diagnosis, accurate pathological classification, multidisciplinary treatment, and long-term follow-up are essential to improve prognosis and optimize outcomes in patients with ovarian malignancies.

Current antiretroviral therapy effectively suppresses viral replication, but it does not remove the latent HIV-1 reservoir. This reservoir mainly exists in resting CD4+ T cells, which means lifelong treatment is necessary. CRISPR-Cas9 gene editing has become a groundbreaking treatment method. It allows for the exact disruption of integrated proviral DNA or the alteration of host cell factors, like CCR5, to stop viruses from entering and to reach a functional cure. This system allows the simultaneous targeting of multiple viral sequences, thereby lowering the risk of escape mutations, and can be further combined with latency-reversing agents or immune interventions to enhance reservoir clearance. While its potential is enormous, clinical translation still needs to address critical issues such as the optimisation of systemic delivery into anatomical sanctuary sites, the minimisation of off-target mutagenesis and the mitigation of potential host immune responses to the Cas9 nuclease. In this paper, we review preclinical and clinical evidence on the use of CRISPR-Cas platforms and assess their potential to eliminate latent reservoirs and the developments needed to take this technology towards a sustainable long-term HIV eradication strategy.

This paper presents a simple and efficient control strategy for both open-loop and closed-loop operation of a three-phase induction motor driven by a Voltage Source Inverter (VSI). The proposed system employs Space Vector Pulse Width Modulation (SVPWM) to generate high-quality switching signals for the inverter. A variable voltage and variable frequency (V/F) control technique is used to regulate the motor speed while reducing the starting current. A Proportional-Integral (PI) controller is incorporated in the closed-loop system, and its gain parameters are obtained using an embedded function for improved dynamic response. The proposed control method enhances the stability of the induction motor under varying operating conditions and provides smooth speed regulation with reduced torque ripple. Furthermore, the SVPWM-based inverter improves voltage utilization and minimizes harmonic distortion, resulting in better overall drive performance. A comprehensive simulation model is developed to evaluate the motor performance under different external load torque conditions. The simulation results demonstrate that the proposed system effectively tracks the reference speed and responds satisfactorily to changes in external torque, achieving reliable and efficient operation.

Kamala Das is most profoundly known for her bold and candid exhibition of raw female desire through a confessional style of writing. She has frequently been compared by scholars to Sylvia Plath for her emotional intensity and personal exposure in poetry. Kamala Das's works, particularly her poetry, have largely been explored within the framework of feminist literary discourse, where society and its patriarchal structures are often subjected to sharp criticism for their treatment of women. As a result, her poems have repeatedly been scrutinized for their erotic content and, at times, narrowly categorized as erotic literature. Most of her works have already been meticulously analysed for their confessional mode and recurring themes such as love, desire, marriage, lust, emotional transparency, and female subjectivity. Various critical approaches, including feminism and psychoanalysis, have been applied to her writings, leading to a perception that her literary corpus has been examined from almost every possible angle. This raises an important question: what remains left to study in Kamala Das's poetry? This paper attempts to respond to this question by offering a fresh interpretation of her poem "The Freak" through a Gen Z perspective. It examines how Das's emotional transparency regarding male-female relationships of her time continues to indicate similar relational possibilities even in contemporary society. By placing the poem within the context of Gen Z hook-up culture, the study demonstrates how her portrayal of physical intimacy devoid of emotional fulfilment closely parallels modern relationship experiences. Contemporary Gen Z terms such as situationships, red flags, toxic relationships, thirsting, rizz, and clout are used as interpretative tools to show how a single poem written from a deeply personal experience evolves into a universal representation of emotional disconnection in intimate relationships. The paper ultimately argues that "The Freak" extends beyond its temporal context to mirror the emotional realities of Gen Z relationship culture, proving that Kamala Das's intensely personal poetic expression continues to function as a living, relevant commentary on intimacy and emotional alienation across generations.
