 Abstract

Modern Hindi fiction has closely engaged with the social and cultural changes taking place in contemporary society, particularly those affecting women's lives, identities, and experiences of migration. Usha Priyamvada holds an important place in contemporary Hindi fiction for the sensitivity with which she portrays women's inner lives and the complexities of living away from one's homeland. Her novel Antarvanshi (2000) brings these concerns together by exploring the lives of Indian migrants negotiating two different cultural worlds. It draws attention to the tensions between tradition and modernity, changing marital relationships, economic uncertainty, and the individual's search for a sense of self. This paper examines these concerns through the experiences of Vana, Sarika, and Anji, with particular attention to women's identity and diasporic consciousness. The study suggests that Priyamvada does not present women's freedom simply as a struggle against men. Instead, her female characters gradually become aware of their own needs, abilities, and aspirations while negotiating family, marriage, cultural expectations, and life in a foreign country. Their journeys reveal that the search for identity is neither sudden nor straightforward; it develops through personal struggles, difficult choices, economic independence, and changing relationships. In this way, Antarvanshi offers a sensitive portrayal of women attempting to create a meaningful space for themselves while living between Indian cultural values and the realities of a transnational life.

 Abstract

Cloud computing has emerged as a transformative force in the accounting profession, reshaping traditional practices through enhanced efficiency, scalability, and integration. This study employs a qualitative review of recent scholarly literature, industry reports, and case studies to examine the impact of cloud computing technology on cloud accounting. The findings reveal that cloud accounting enables real-time access to financial data, reduces IT infrastructure costs, and improves collaboration across organizational units. Key motivators for adoption include system integration and data security, while challenges persist in regulatory compliance, hidden costs, and dependence on service providers. The review highlights contextual differences: small and medium enterprises (SMEs) emphasize cost savings and scalability, whereas large corporations prioritize integration with enterprise systems. Emerging markets identify security and integration as primary drivers, while developed economies stress compliance and efficiency. Despite these benefits, gaps remain in longitudinal evidence, industry-specific adoption studies, and comparative analyses across diverse regulatory environments. This study concludes that cloud computing elevates accounting from a transactional function to a strategic decision-support system. Practical recommendations are offered for firms to strengthen adoption through phased implementation, employee training, and robust security measures, while policymakers are urged to establish clear regulatory frameworks and support SMEs. Future research should explore the convergence of cloud accounting and emerging technologies such as AI and blockchain to address evolving challenges and opportunities.

 Abstract

Ruskin Bond, an eminent Indian author, is lauded for his ability to exquisitely capture the spirit of nature and the naivety of childhood in his literary creations. His short stories portray the deep influence of nature on the lives and experiences of his child protagonists. Romantic poets such as William Wordsworth and William Blake envisaged an intimate connection between nature and childhood. Wordsworth portrays nature as a comforting retreat offering relief and revitalization where childhood innocence is idealized. On the other hand, Blake juxtaposes childhood innocence with the grim realities of life, often using nature as a symbol for these opposing states. Bond's stories delve into the importance of nature by highlighting how various aspects of the world serve as a setting for his characters' escapades. They explore how the distinct flora and fauna found in the Himalayan region play a significant role in shaping the characters' perceptions and choices throughout their journeys. In addition, they focus on Bond's portrayal of childhood, emphasising traits such as callowness, fortitude, and inquisitiveness exhibited by his characters. This paper examines how the young characters in Bond's stories manoeuvre through the challenges of a fast-changing world and find comfort and knowledge through their interactions with nature. His storytelling not only encases the innocent and delightful aspects of childhood but also delivers a powerful message about the environment. It encourages readers to value, protect, and peacefully coexist with nature.

 Abstract

The present study examines the impact of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) on Library Resources and Services in engineering college libraries in Telangana State. The study adopted a survey method and collected data from 80 respondents from five selected engineering colleges in Hyderabad. The findings reveal that computer systems in the library were the most widely used ICT resource (71.7%), while e-resources are the highest level of user satisfaction. A significant majority of respondents (98.8%) reported that ICT-based services save time in accessing information and (78.8%) agreed that ICT improves the quality of learning and research. The study also explores that ICT has a positive impact on library services, particularly in information access, research productivity, teaching, and learning, while remote access and digital library services require further improvement.

 Abstract

"Learn this now and learn it well, my daughter: like a compass needle, a man's accusing finger always finds a woman. Always." -Khalid Hosseini (A Thousand Splendid Suns). Years of questioning and reforming, yet women are the 'second sex'. The society particularly measures their brilliance, through their ability of tolerance and submission to patriarchal norms. The women in novels of Rabindranath Tagore and Sarat Chandra Chattopadhyay, showcases the liveliness of feminine grace while confronting the masculine authority of identity, freedom and individuality. Their zeal is to build a character that can sacrifice for love as well as fight for autonomy. As Virginia Woolf's theory of 'Androgyny' suggest that a person possess both feminine and masculine characteristics, out of which one is highlighted through social manufacturing. Women are formed neurologically to have feminine instincts that are later strengthened by social culturing, however skeptical, this cannot define their social role. Instances demand them to prove their masculine characteristics to pave their own dispossessions and harmonious realization of their true personality in a modern society. The Heroines of both Tagore and Chattopadhyay excels as non-conformists, enlightened New Woman with their rebellious and out rightly demonstration of latent desires and aspirations. The article invests Tagore's and Chattopadhyay's Humanitarian approach towards the 'New Women'. Instead of idealizing, they present them as complex individuals dealing with the more complex realities of the world both inner and outer, and their despondent life, to seek emotional and psychological independence. The indignation against vague and deceptive notion of 'femininity', meticulous culturing of ideology that kept women out of margins, are essentialized through these characters. The article specifically focuses on two young widows, doubly marginalized, fabricating a personality that debunks the shortcomings of social status quo, morality and tradition, building a modern female consciousness.

 Abstract

This paper extends a previously reported cross-regulation-free single-input three-output (SITO) DC-DC converter, originally regulated using classical Proportional-Integral (PI) controllers, by designing and implementing a Fuzzy Logic Controller (FLC) for each of its three independently controlled outputs -- boost (V01), positive buck-boost (V02), and buck (V03). Unlike the linear PI controller, whose gains are fixed around a single operating point derived from small-signal averaged models, the proposed FLC uses the error and the change of error between the reference and the actual output voltage to nonlinearly adapt the duty-cycle correction, without requiring an explicit mathematical model of the converter. The open-loop, PI-controlled, and fuzzy-logic-controlled configurations of the converter are modeled and simulated in the MATLAB/Simulink environment under identical operating conditions, including input-voltage step disturbance and load step disturbance. Comparative simulation results show that the proposed FLC-based scheme achieves a faster dynamic response, reduced overshoot/undershoot, negligible steady-state error, and improved robustness to input voltage and load variation compared with the open-loop and PI-controlled systems, while preserving the inherent cross-regulation-free property of the converter topology. This study is restricted to MATLAB/Simulink-based simulation; no hardware prototype or experimental results are included.

 Abstract

The present study was carried out to find the haemoglobin levels and prevalence of anaemia among the Govt. College(A), Ananthapuramu who participated in routine health checkups. It was carried out for three day in the month of January 2026. Four hundred twenty eight female students blood samples were collected and analyzed for haemoglobin levels. This test were carried out by Sachivalyam Health Staff. The haemoglobin levels ranged from 6.5% to 16%. Out of 428 female students 131(30.60%) were Normal or Non Anaemic, rest of Female students 40 (9.34%) were Mild, 209 (48.83%) were Moderate, 47(10.98%) were Severe anaemic.

Modern electric vehicles depend on advanced power electronics like on-board chargers (OBCs) and DC-DC converters that must operate reliably under varying conditions, including phase number, input voltage, and battery output levels. Achieving high efficiency and low cost while meeting automotive standards is increasingly complex. This article introduces a novel OBC architecture that maintains full power output across both single-phase and three-phase inputs--without additional power components or performance trade-offs. Central to this design is the use of fuzzy control, enabling adaptive, efficient operation under fluctuating conditions. The result is a compact, high-efficiency, and cost-effective universal charging solution.
