This study examines whether government funding has improved services in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. Using primary survey data collected from 250 respondents across four development blocks of Lucknow district, the study examines infrastructure quality, accessibility, staffing adequacy, service standards, and beneficiary satisfaction. The study assessed the effectiveness of public health and educational services using descriptive statistics, percent breakdowns, and a Service Delivery Index. The study found that public spending has improved education and healthcare infrastructure, access, and service quality. However, challenges related to digital infrastructure, medical staff shortages, medicine availability, and waiting times continue to persist. Also, there are differences in how well services are delivered across different areas, which suggests we need targeted solutions. The study finally suggested that while more funding has helped, the researchers say we also need to focus on using money effectively, boosting accountability, and raising standards to really make a difference.

This study explores the dividend policies of listed manufacturing companies in India, focusing on their influence on market value and enterprise value (EV). It addresses the gap in existing literature, which often neglects the industry-specific dynamics of dividend practices. Using stratified systematic sampling, data from 50 companies across five manufacturing industries--automobile, iron and steel, pharmaceuticals, FMCG, and durable consumer goods (DCG)--spanning FY 2014-2021 were analyzed. Statistical tools such as ANOVA and multiple regression models were employed to uncover significant relationships between financial metrics, including revenue, net profit, and dividends, with market valuation. The study also aims to design an optimal dividend policy model tailored to the manufacturing sector.

In this paper, an applied study was executed to expose the views and habituations of university students in regards to their use of digital library. The main aim of the study is to reveal the purpose of use, usage frequent and use tools for the digital library by students of Ankara University. The survey was carried out in three selected faculties in Ankara University. The study adopted stratified sampling to achieve a sample that approximated the distribution of the students in different faculties. The questionnaire was administered to 280 students, 169 students from Faculty of Letters, 52 students from faculty of pharmacy and 59 students from Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, selected randomly. The findings of the results show that whereas the students use the internet resources for school assignments, digital library is not yet placed as their first priority among their choices. One of the main reasons of this is not being aware of how to use the digital library. The second reason is that students find their own resources sufficient for their research. At the conclusion of the paper, orientation for digital library in curriculums at Ankara University is suggested to enable widespread use of the library services and networked resources among the students.

Himachal Pradesh, nestled in the lap of the Himalayas, boasts a rich tapestry of biodiversity, with its forests serving as the lifeblood of its ecosystem and economy. Forests, as the lungs of our planet, play a pivotal role in climate regulation, biodiversity conservation, and sustaining countless livelihoods. Himachal Pradesh, with its diverse flora and fauna, has been a crucible of this delicate balance. However, the intricate dance between human development and environmental preservation has led to nuanced changes in the state's forested areas. By strengthening conservation efforts, embracing sustainable practices, diversifying forest products, and empowering local communities, Himachal Pradesh can safeguard its forests for future generations. As we unravel the intricacies of Himachal Pradesh's forested realms, we embark on a journey that transcends geographical boundaries. It is a collective endeavor, transcending disciplines and communities, to preserve the natural heritage that is not just a testament to the past but a promise for the future. The study aimed to evaluate the utilization of forest based resources by the village Community and their relation to job-related factors, health, and other issues.

E-commerce has emerged as an important component of modern business, providing small and medium enterprises (SMEs) with opportunities to access wider markets, reduce transaction costs, improve customer relationships, and increase operational efficiency. Despite these benefits, many SMEs face challenges in adopting and effectively using e-commerce technologies. These challenges include inadequate digital infrastructure, lack of technical knowledge, cyber security concerns, financial constraints, resistance to technological change, logistics problems, and lack of customer trust. This study examines the opportunities and challenges associated with e-commerce adoption among SMEs and identifies the major factors influencing their decision to adopt e-commerce. The study adopts a descriptive research design and proposes the collection of primary data from SME owners and managers through a structured questionnaire. Secondary information is obtained from books, journals, government reports, and research publications. For illustration, the data-analysis section presents a hypothetical sample of 100 SME respondents; these figures should be replaced with actual survey results if primary data are collected. The study finds that market expansion, increased sales, convenience, improved customer service, and cost reduction are major opportunities, while lack of digital skills, cyber security risks, inadequate infrastructure, financial limitations, and logistics difficulties remain important barriers. The study concludes that appropriate digital training, affordable technology, reliable internet infrastructure, secure payment systems, and supportive government policies can significantly improve e-commerce adoption among SMEs.

The rapid advancement of generative artificial intelligence has enabled the creation of hyper-realistic manipulated videos, commonly known as deepfakes, which pose severe threats to information integrity, financial security, judicial evidence and public trust. Detection approaches that rely on a single modality are increasingly circumvented by modern generation techniques. This paper presents the design and implementation of a multi-signal ensemble framework for deepfake video detection that fuses four independent forensic signals: (i) frame-level classification using a Vision Transformer (ViT) model with 86 million parameters executed through the ONNX Runtime, (ii) audio forensics based on zero-crossing rate, RMS energy and short-term energy variance, (iii) lip-sync consistency analysis using cross-correlation between phoneme timing and visual mouth movement, and (iv) blink pattern analysis based on the eye aspect ratio (EAR). The signals are combined through a weighted ensemble voting scheme (0.60, 0.20, 0.10, 0.10) with statistical aggregation of frame scores using mean, median, 75th and 90th percentile values. The framework is realised as a privacy-preserving web application built on ASP.NET Core 8.0 with asynchronous background processing using Hangfire and SQL Server 2022 persistence; all analysis is performed locally with no cloud upload. Experimental evaluation shows that the proposed ensemble achieves 92.1% detection accuracy, outperforming the heuristic fallback (62.5%) and single-signal configurations, while processing a 60-second video in approximately 1.5-2 minutes at 1 FPS frame sampling.

The pathophysiology of pediatric malnutrition, particularly wasting and stunting, represents a profound disruption of metabolic homeostasis. In modern clinical paradigms, conditions such as protein-energy malnutrition (PEM) and environmental enteric dysfunction (EED) parallel the classical Ayurvedic entities of Karshya (severe emaciation) and Parigarbhika (malnutrition triggered by maternal milk depletion or early weaning). Conventional interventions frequently focus on high-calorie supplementation but often overlook the underlying enzymatic collapse and gastrointestinal malabsorption, leading to poor recovery rates and refeeding complications.

In the epistemological framework of Ayurveda, the term Sandigdha Dravya designates medicinal plants possessing controversial, ambiguous, or conflated botanical identities. Brahmadandi represents one such highly debated drug. Historically integrated into the Ayurvedic Materia Medica (Nighantus) post-10th century, its exact botanical source remains fiercely contested. Currently, two distinct xerophytic species of the Asteraceae family Tricholepis glaberrima DC. and Echinops echinatus Roxb. are interchangeably traded and administered as Brahmadandi. This unchecked substitution severely compromises clinical efficacy, particularly in aphrodisiac (Vajikarana) therapies, and disrupts pharmacopoeial standardization.
