 Abstract

Ayurveda is an ancient medical science with strong fundamentals, which deals with food habits, living style, preventive and curative aspects of disease for both healthy person and for diseased person. Ayurveda explains that the body is formed by Panchamahabhutas, Tridoshas, Sapta dhatus, Trimalas primarily. Among these constituents Tridosha is base for the maintain the Physiology and causing pathology of the healthiness and disease respectively. Vata Pitta and Kapha are the Tridoshas which is the base for Ayurveda, Among the Tridoshas vata plays an important role in the manifestation of the disease. This vata is vitiated by Ahara and Vihara quickly such vata is pacified by different protocols. Among all the protocol Vasti plays major role in controlling the vata such Vasti is explained by all the Brihatrayi and Laghu trayee. Vasti means medicated Enema given through Ano Rectal route. Different types of vasti are explained in the classics, an attempt is made to compile different types of vasti among the samhitas.

 Abstract

The concept of violence against women is not novel and has existed since time immemorial. Women have been subjected to violence in the forms of harassment, cruelty, dowry death, child marriage, domestic violence, sexual assault, and rape to name a few. Rape is a sexual activity that is illegal and typically involves having sex against one's will, against the threat of harm, with a minor, or with someone who is unable of giving their consent voluntarily due to mental illness, mental disability, intoxication, unconsciousness, or deception. It exploits the victim physically and sexually but also mentally and emotionally. Marital rape or spousal rape is the act of sexual intercourse with one's spouse without the spouse's consent. It has been in much debate across the globe and in our country. Some countries have criminalized it and in a few of them, there is still an ongoing debate about whether it is protected under the shield of the right to conjugal rights and right to privacy. This paper covers the various aspects of marital rape, the evolution of the concept, its constitutionality in other countries, the legal framework in India, the Doctrine of Coverture, Bodily Autonomy, and the Theory of Implied Consent. It also analyses the arguments for and against the criminalization of Marital Rape in the latest case pending before the Supreme Court.

 Abstract

Kala is one among the Nava karana dravya. Kala is Ammorta dravya, Nithya and vibhu. The change resulting from an earlier situation to succeed or present situation is known as kala. It is also known as Parinama. Each and everything of this universe or cosmos, undergoes change. The changes evident in the universe or cosmos are bound to follow a definite order. The same implies to the physical body of the human beings. These changes are inevitable and are going on without any break. Kala is the principle, reason for the vicious cycle of birth and death among human beings. Kala has been given a prime importance in charaka Samhita in the maintaince of swastya and atura. Acharya Charaka classified kala into Nithyaga (samvastara) kala and Avastikan kala. Nithyaga is again classified into uttarayana and dakshanayana based on the movements of the sun. Avastika describes about vyadhi avasta kala (disease status of patient). Kala plays a vital role in understanding the nidana, of roga, samprapti, pariksha, sadhyasadhyata, and chikista.

 Abstract

The objective of this research is to investigate how empathy is constructed. The literature displays substantial evidence that empathy is a key component of the therapeutic alliance across theories and that empathy is required in the counselling process. Also taking into account the various interpretations of empathy in psychotherapy and counselling, as well as Carl Roger's contribution to the creation and understanding of empathy. Some authors examine some lasting challenges in the study of empathy in Empathy Considered: New Directions in Counseling. Some people see of empathy as a tighter contagion in which the therapist feels some of what the client feels, while others think of it as a hermeneutic process for understanding the other's thinking. Rogers (1957) encourages empathy. The importance of empathy in counselling was strengthened and has proven to be constant when unconditional positive regard was used as a core component of treatment.

 Abstract

This study attempts to examine Socioeconomic Determinants of the Demand for Children in the Case of Kebri Dehar District. For this purpose, the study used both primary and secondary data. Primary data was collected through interviews and structured questionnaires. The structured questionnaires is posed to a total of 204 randomly sample households and data on socioeconomic variable (income, education, labor market participation, economic value of children, gender composition, age of mothers, ethnicity, Age at marriage, religion and the pro-creation motive) was collected. The data were obtained from 204 sample respondents. A Poisson maximum likelihood estimates technique was used. The results of the study show that measures such as formal expansion of paternal and maternal education, altering the economic value of children, increasing household income, and delaying the marriage age are important. We also find institutional approaches that require "culture based initiatives" relevant. An important policy implication that can be drawn from this result is the need to target such socio-economic variables in designing and implementing population policy measures in Ethiopia and other African nations with similar demographic features.

The main purpose of this study is to investigate the significance of technology, particularly AI/ML, in the development of sustainable farming practices for the future. Indian farmers face a formidable obstacle in their pursuit of food and environmental security as the country's population rises and its agricultural resources dwindle [1]. Increasing the productivity and long-term sustainability of farming on a scientific foundation is urgently needed to combat these dual difficulties in the country [1]. Precision farming is a novel approach to agriculture that aims to better satisfy the needs of a growing population. For the PF to work toward its goals of boosting agricultural productivity and decreasing environmental menaces, it relies on a method focused on identifying the geographical and temporal variability in crop output.  Abstract

The textile industry generates effluents in huge amounts so it is the most important consumer of water. In this paper, various significant physicochemical characteristics such as pH, electrical conductivity (EC), total dissolved solids (TDS), biological oxygen demand (BOD) of raw water, and the textile industry's effluents were analyzed. These parameters of the textile industry's effluent samples compare with raw water samples. In this study physicochemical parameters were found greatly larger than the acceptable limits as given by CPCB and WHO. The high values of pH, TDS, BOD, and COD have harmful effects on human health as well as on aquatic life. So, it is necessary to treat water properly before disposal of this type of effluents into the water bodies.
