 Abstract

Research and Development (R&D) stands as the cornerstone of academic institutions, serving as a catalyst for innovation, knowledge advancement, and societal progress. The National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 is a transformative narrative, not merely a policy document but a catalyst for reshaping India's educational trajectory. The present report aims to improve the R&D culture in India with a focus on State Universities. The report systematically addresses the diverse challenges these institutions face, including funding constraints, teaching-research imbalances, faculty mindset, and administrative hurdles. It provides a nuanced understanding of the current state of research and innovation in State Universities, highlighting both pockets of excellence and systemic impediments. Based on these insights, the report outlines a roadmap for transformative change, offering actionable recommendations such as establishing research and development committees, developing infrastructure, providing faculty incentives, fostering industry partnerships, and encouraging international collaborations.

 Abstract

Image restoration and enhancement are major areas of digital image processing aimed at improving the quality of degraded images and increasing their visual appeal for better human or machine interpretation Restoration techniques consume issues such as noise, noise blur and distortion are addressed, using blurring and denoising techniques to recover the original image. Image enhancement techniques focus on improving parts of the image, using techniques such as contrast adjustment and sharpening. Recent advances use deep learning and artificial intelligence, especially neural networks and generative anti-networks (GANs) to improve the image quality dramatically These innovations are important for applications in areas such as medicine interior photography, satellite photography and photography, where image quality is needed. Despite the improvements, challenges such as maintaining detail while removing noise and ensuring real-time performance remain, providing ongoing research for edge development a wonderful and highly effective remedy.

Infrastructure development, driven by the Rural Infrastructure Development Fund (RIDF), expanded rural roads, bridges, and e-governance initiatives, enhancing connectivity and service delivery. Agricultural advancements, including the Krishi Bhagya Scheme and irrigation projects, bolstered productivity and economic diversification. Educational initiatives like the K-READ program and vocational training improved skills and employability. Healthcare saw upgrades in facilities and telemedicine services, alongside welfare schemes benefiting millions. Environmental sustainability efforts focused on water conservation, sustainable land use, biodiversity protection, and climate adaptation, promoting ecological resilience. This comprehensive analysis, is gathered from secondary data and governmental reports, underscores Karnataka's commitment to balanced rural development, emphasizing economic growth while preserving natural resources and improving quality of life in rural communities.

Earthquakes are among the most unpredictable and devastating natural disasters. Of all the methods used for constructing earthquake-resistant multi-storied structures, shear walls are the most commonly adopted. A shear wall is a structural member placed at various locations within a building, extending from the foundation level to the top parapet level, designed to resist lateral forces parallel to the wall plane. These walls are crucial in preventing damage from lateral forces due to earthquakes and wind. This paper reviews the research on multi-storied buildings with and without shear walls. In India, shear walls are the preferred choice for earthquake-resistant structures. The configuration and utility of these structural walls may vary, but their placement within a building is critical for effectively resisting lateral forces

The EyeConnect Visionary Keyboard fixes this using smart technology that tracks and relates our eye movements. This research gives a brief light on eye-tracking keyboards which will help disabled people to control devices using eye movements. This novel idea explores virtual keyboard working benefits and challenges. This research gives an insight on how eye-tracking keyboards make digital communication easier and more inclusive.

E-college aims to optimize operations within educational institutes by providing an integrated, intelligent, collaborative, and web-enabled solution. This paper outlines a set of essential modules and their implementation strategies for seamless institutional functioning, demonstrating how E-college can save valuable time and improve overall efficiency.

 Abstract

Financial independence is proportionately related with social independence. Due to the financial independence, women are breaking free from traditional mindsets and old values. As a result of financial self-reliance, women's self-confidence is increasing, allowing them to make important life decisions in their lives independently, which was once unimaginable for women. Women have always been identified through their relationships with men - as a daughter, wife, or mother. However, with financial stability, women are now learning to establish their own identities and live with dignity. This is exemplified in Pracheta Gupta's novel 'Dhulobalir Jibon’. The text discusses how financial independence is empowering women to break free from traditional societal expectations, pressure and imposed norms and rules, and establish their own identities, leading to increased self-confidence and autonomy in decision-making.

 Abstract

Computerized accounting systems (CAS) have become indispensable tools for firms in the digital age, facilitating effective financial management and decision-making. Organizations' financial management is now much more accurate and efficient, thanks to the integration of CAS. But it has also brought with it a host of cybersecurity threats that could jeopardize confidential financial information. This study looks at the different cybersecurity vulnerabilities that computerized accounting systems have to deal with. It also looks at practical ways to reduce these risks and offers suggestions for improving CAS security. This study seeks to provide a deep overview of the cybersecurity landscape in the context of computerized accounting systems and propose practical techniques for protecting these vital systems through a thorough analysis of the available literature and case studies.

 Abstract

Concrete is a material that is widely utilized in the Construction industry due to its excellent workability and capacity to be moulded into any shape. Fibers are typically utilized to reinforce concrete and prevent it from cracking. The purpose of this research is to investigate the compressive and flexural strengths of steel fiber reinforced concrete (SFRC), which contains fibers in varying proportions from 0.5 to 3% of the concrete grade M-40. Steel fibers were employed with an aspect ratio of 50. There were 168 samples analysed in total during the study. Above is a trial mix with different proportions compared to a regular concrete mix. The following construction projects now utilize steel fiber reinforced concrete: runway pavement, bridging decks, machine foundations, blast-resistant structures, piles, pipes, sea-protective structures, hip-hulls, and storage tanks
