 Abstract

Crimes against women have become common phenomena which are reported daily in our newspapers. India is passing through a very turbulent phase with regard to women security and cases of rapes, sexual assaults, acid attacks are on the hike on a daily basis. Despite of several changes in the provisions of law and criminal procedure, only few perpetrators of such heinous crime are punished, rather the victims become a accused of filing a false case because the prosecution was not able to prove the allegations beyond reasonable doubt. Due to various child rape incidents, the demand for making anti-rape laws had been more stringent. The infamous Kathua rape case and the Unnao rape case shook the conscience of the entire nation and the triggered the demand of more amendments and gave birth to The Criminal Law Amendment Act, 2018. It is need of the hour to change the thinking and mentality of people along with judicial awakening. The responsibility of protecting women should not be confined to the police authorities but it is duty of the general public also. Changes must be made not only in the laws as well as in the mindset of the people so that rape victims would no longer be victimized.

 Abstract

Job satisfaction relates to the overall relationship among an employee and the employer of work placement for which he or she paid. The performance of employee is related with the satisfaction of job both directly and indirectly. Employee job pleasure is crucial to face the dynamic and ever-increasing challenges of keeping productiveness of the organization by keeping their staff continuously engaged and motivated. This will be triumph over through creating a piece environment that keeps worker job satisfaction in addition to motivate people in the direction of first rate performance on the place of working attaining work-existence stability. The review is examined the impact of job satisfaction on the employees performance at the workplace. This paper is based on the secondary data, which is presenting a literature review regarding effect and influence of job satisfaction on the performance of employee as well as productivity at the workplace. The study is based on the existing review of literature regarding job satisfaction and employee performance. It can be concluded from the review regarding the impact of job satisfaction on employees performance that the facets such as: remuneration, job safety, working situations, activity autonomy, relationship with supervisor, co-workers and manager and nature of labor; have an effect on the satisfaction of job and overall performance.

 Abstract

The pulse rates of the 20 team members of three competitions were recorded and analysed statistically to find out significance of differences if any, in the variable among three conditions by applying one way analysis of variances (F-ratio). The level of significances the F-ratio obtained by one way analysis of variances was fixed at 0.05 level of confidence. F-ratio obtained for different three conditions was less than the table value 3.00 required for the differences to be significant. Thus hypothesis was rejected and it was conducted that at school level there is no significant difference in pulse rate of the players of the selected three different events i.e. Kho-Kho, Kabaddi and Athletics (girls), participating in the events conducted. From the results of the data collected after statistical analysis, it is concluded that there is no significant difference in pulse rate of secondary school girls players participation in Kho-Kho, Kabaddi and Athletics.

 Abstract

Nowadays Hand Gesture Recognition play an important role as a technique of a development of Enhanced Human Computer Interaction. Upgraded Human Computer Interaction empowers the non-contact framework to cooperate with the PC if there should arise an occurrence of unavoidance circumstance in security and treatment. In this project, Intelligent Virtual Assistant dependent on Hand Gesture and Speech Recognition is proposed to upgrade the client cooperation. The proposed system is divided into four parts: a) hand gesture recognition; b) speech recognition; c) interface object detection; d) command execution. A deep learning method, Convolutional Neural Network(CNN) is used to extract the features of a gesture. To decide these highlights, shading division is utilized to identify the hand; shading pixels can be obtained by removing a specific HSV (tint, immersion, esteem) and applying limit covering to the input image. CNN is also used to extract feature from raw speech signal for efficient speech recognition process. Finally, a Support Vector Machine(SVM) is used to give a more accurate classification of the hand gestures, speech data and GUI Elements. So as to assess the precision of the proposed framework, the accompanying datasets are utilized: Microsoft Kinect, Leap Motion Dataset and Gesture Creative Senz3D for Gesture Detection; Google Speech Commands Dataset for Speech Recognition; pix2code dataset and Sketch2code dataset for GUI component location. The experimental results show that the proposed system can recognize gesture and speech functions with 97% accuracy.

 Abstract

Water is the most precious resource responsible for life on our planet. More than 1 billion people do not have access to a source of clean drinking water, and around 3 billion experience water scarcity at least a month per year. The ocean makes up 70 percent of the earth�s surface and accounts for about 96 percent of the water on the planet. Desalination of the seawater resource has emerged as a promising technology to meet the current fresh water demands. At present solar energy is used widely for desalination and new and new renewable energy technologies are developed to meet the ever increasing demands for potable water. In floating absorber based solar steam generation, the infrared rays from sun are converted into heat energy and this energy is used to convert water into steam. Cotton can be used as a floating absorber due to its high capillarity, low thermal conductivity and porosity. Even though cotton has its advantages, it has a very high reflectivity of incident light and reflects about 60% of incoming radiations. Study on the evaporation performance of Graphene Oxide (GO) cotton absorber and uncoated cotton absorber shows GO coated cotton is 2.38 times better than uncoated cotton absorber. GO has high photothermal efficiency which converts almost 60% of incoming sunlight into heat energy. Polystyrene form used as a support helps in low heat transmission loss thereby localizing heat on top surface. The evaporation rate obtained in our study using GO coated cotton shows promising result comparable to other materials used as floating absorber in different studies. Water quality analysis conducted on the condensed water samples suggests the obtained purified water is potable.

 Abstract

This paper tries to diagnose factors affecting the usage of UPI among customers. Efforts have been put to investigate the usage pattern, customer�s perceptions and awareness about Indian Government�s UPI for banking and financial transactions. A questionnaire was filled up by the users of UPI having bank account registered with the bank. The responses were analysed through regression model using SPSS. Five independent variables have been identified and used as major factors influencing customer�s usage of UPI. Five factors are: Perceived Usage Risk, Compatibility of Apps and OS, Customer�s Demographic Profile, Comparative Advantage over Other Apps, and External Threats. Factors like transaction risk, demographic profile of customers, compatibility of apps and benefits of UPI were significantly affected the usage pattern of UPI. While factors like geographic distribution of the customers, phishing and virus attack were negatively affected the usage of UPI.
