 Abstract

Background: Most of the dancers have high prevalence of musculoskeletal pain and injury. Indian classical dance is one of them. Kathak is the most popular dance form of Indian classical dance. Though kathak is north Indian dance, but there are many kathak dancers in Gujarat and particular Saurashtra region. Many previous studies have shown musculoskeletal proportion in different type of dance forms, but there is no study one about musculoskeletal pain among kathak dancers and particularly knee pain related disabilities. With knowing proportion and difficulty level feel by the kathak dancers, treatment can be done accordingly.Objectives: To find out proportion of musculoskeletal pain and knee pain related disabilities among kathak dancers. Methods: An observational study was conducted at various kathak centers of the Saurashtra region. After checking inclusion and exclusion criteria, we take demographic data and asked their practice related questions to the dancers. The Nordic questionnaire sheet was filled by the dancers to know proportion of musculoskeletal pain. Oxford knee score taken to know difficulties in various activities. NPRS before and after dance practice was taken to know immediate knee pain after dance practice. Results: the kathak dancers of the Saurashtra region have lower back and ankle pain with 20% of proportion.15% dancers have knee pain, 12% shoulder pain, 11% hips/thighs pain and neck pain, 10% upper back pain and only 1% have wrist pain. Difficulties by kathak dancers due to knee pain is very mild. Conclusion: The prevalence of back pain and ankle pain is highest among kathak dancers followed by knee pain. Knee pain related disabilities are very mild and there is no significant change in NPRS before and after dance practice.

 Abstract

Oral delivery is a popular method in the pharmaceutical industry for its safety, convenience, cost-effectiveness, and high patient compliance. Angiotensin II receptor blockers (ARBs), like fimasartan, are used to treat hypertension by relaxing blood vessels and reducing blood pressure. Immediate release tablets are designed to disintegrate quickly, allowing for the swift release of active ingredients. These tablets are preferred due to their ease of self-administration, compactness, and simple manufacturing process. Formulation and evaluation of immediate-release tablets of Fimasartan were successful, demonstrating acceptable physicochemical properties and rapid drug release. These tablets offer convenience and efficacy for managing hypertension, but further studies, including stability testing and clinical trials, are needed to confirm their long-term stability, bioavailability, and clinical effectiveness before they can be introduced into the market and prescribed to patients

 Abstract

Electric cars are driving a significant shift in consumer adoption as more people are transiting themselves from traditional internal combustion engine vehicles to embrace the promise of cleaner and sustainable transportation. This study investigates the key factors influencing the consumer adoption of electric cars in Odisha. Based on the theory of unified theory of acceptance and use of technology 2( UTAUT 2) , Theory of planned behavior, Value belief norm theory a conceptual framework is developed with 3 additional constructs namely :- Brand anthropomorphism, Brand love, , and status motivation . A cross sectional design is formulated in the study with the method of purposive sampling.Data is collected from 12 districts of Odisha with the sample of 400 respondents. Data were analysed using the method of Partial least square structural equation modelling using SMART PLS 3, to test the hypothesis and conceptual model.The findings revealed Performance expectancy, Effort expectancy, Hedonic motivation, Price value, Facilitating condition, Attitude, Brand love, Brand anthropomorphism, Biospheric values and Status motivation positively influence consumer adoption. Simultaneously , the Researcher analyzed the effect of control variables on consumer adoption and findings signifies that Gender specially Males, Age group of people within 28-40, married people, Govt / private job holders, Peoples having monthly household income between Rs. 50,000 - 1,00,000, Car users having previous driving experience, and the person's having more than one car in household have significant influence on consumer adoption of electric cars

 Abstract

The present research is Use of information Sources and Services of College Libraries in Muzaffarpur District, Bihar. Every institution engaged in pursuit of college education is trying to achieve academic excellence. Every educational institute has realized the need for automation of their libraries. The college libraries in Bihar University are spending much more money every year for the purpose of library automation and procurement of electronic resources. The evolution of technology and the shifting information requirements of users have led to this transformation. Technology has permeated every aspect of human endeavor, and libraries are no exception. With advancements in technology, various resources such as electronic journals, e-books, e-databases, pre-prints, numerical and graphical data, library catalogs, educational materials, patents, and standards are now accessible online. Therefore, it can be asserted that information is fundamental to the advancement and development of both nations and humanity as a whole. The necessity of modern technology training for effectively managing library activities is a key consideration in this problem statement.

 Abstract

Road safety assessment and surrogate measures are critical in rural areas, where infrastructure and emergency response systems often lag behind those in urban settings. This review paper examines road safety challenges in rural Karnataka, India, and investigates surrogate measures that can be utilized to evaluate and enhance safety outcomes. The paper synthesizes current research, identifies key risk factors, and proposes strategies for improving road safety in these regions. It also provides recommendations on how surrogate measures can be effectively implemented, explores the role of these measures in assigning responsibilities to road users, and discusses the timing for potential shifts in responsibility by authorities.

 Abstract

Introduction: The lack of integrated, organized emergency care leads to millions of preventable deaths and creates wide discrepancies in outcomes across the range of emergency conditions. Objective: To identify the selected aspects in gaps of emergency care services in all health care institutions in the Western Province. Methodology: It was a descriptive cross sectional study which evaluated the emergency care services in all Health Care Institutions in the Western Province. The sample was all 39 Health Care Institutions which are at different levels of care. Emergency services were assessed through a validated questionnaire. It was focused on the case load, infrastructure, diagnostic facilities, human resource and quality. Results: The gaps identified were: o Lack of triage categorization, triage documentation and knowledge of ED case-mix by triage category o Lack of documentation of critical timings for patient care in the ED with resulting lack of knowledge of status of patient flow through the ED. There is also resulting lack of data on time based operational quality indices in EDs in Sri Lanka. o Relative lack of appropriate physical infrastructural facilities at most EDs in the Western province that are not commensurate with patient load and national guidelines on A&E services. o Significant shortage of critical professional staff, especially doctors and nurses in most EDs compromises the speed and quality of care EDs are able to provide o Lack of uniformity in availability of imaging and laboratory facilities to the different levels of EDs o Significant variability in quality of documentation in ED medical records Conclusion: This study identifies many gaps in different aspects in the Emergency care. Recommendations: An emergency care model should be developed which appropriate for Sri Lanka

The progress in medical science has been significantly propelled by the advancements in nanotechnology, offering ground breaking solutions to combat life-threatening diseases. Nanotechnology represents a significant milestone with diverse applications across various sectors such as electronics, textiles, and particularly in healthcare. Nanotechnology is pivotal in healthcare due to its significant contributions in precision medicine applications such as targeted therapy, diagnostic techniques, therapeutic interventions and biomedical sensing all of which enhance human well-being. Nanoparticles serve as an extremely promising framework for a wide range of biomedical uses, showcasing their immense potential in revolutionizing medical treatments and interventions. The emergence of eco-friendly technologies for the biosynthesis of nanoparticles represents a significant stride within the realm of nanotechnology. This development intersects with the broader domain of materials science, particularly in the manipulation of atomic structures to confer distinct properties and facilitate diverse bio-applications. Among metal nanoparticles, silver nanoparticles stand out due to their remarkable physical, chemical and biological attributes. In this context, green chemistry has surfaced as a viable alternative to conventional synthesis methods for nanoparticles. Among the array of green approaches, leveraging plant extracts for nanoparticle synthesis garners particular attention. This preference stems from the rich diversity of biomolecules inherent in plants, which serve not only to reduce nanoparticles but also to act as stabilizing and capping agents, thereby expediting reaction kinetics. In contrast to microbial cultures, plants offer ease of handling, wide distribution and ready availability. The present review delves into the varied plant species suitable for rapid, one-step protocols in silver nanoparticle synthesis. Additionally, it delineates the multifaceted bioactivities exhibited by these nanoparticles, encompassing antibacterial, antifungal, antioxidant, antiviral, anticancer and anti-diabetic properties.

 Abstract

For many years, milk thistle (Silybum marianum) has been used as a herbal cure for a variety of illnesses. A complex blend of flavonolignans, including silibinin (silybin), silychristin, and silidianin, makes up the main active ingredient "SILYMARIN." Research on pharmacology has shown that silymarin possesses strong anti-inflammatory, antifibrotic, and antioxidant characteristics. Mixed results have come from clinical trials examining the effectiveness of milk thistle in treating a variety of liver illnesses, such as liver cirrhosis, hepatitis B and C, non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, and alcoholic liver disease. Because of its well-established safety record and low number of documented side effects, milk thistle is a valuable adjunctive treatment. Silymarin's pharmacokinetics shows that it has limited oral bioavailability and poor water solubility, which make it difficult to employ therapeutically. To improve its absorption and bioavailability, advances in formulation technologies, such as the creation of liposomal, nanoparticles, and phytosomes, have been investigated. The goal of this paper is to give a thorough overview of milk thistle's pharmacological characteristics and pharmacokinetics, as well as its possible application in the treatment of liver illnesses and other ailments such as cancer, viral infection, fibrosis, tumorigenesis, inflammation, etc.

Gluten-free market has a place in main stream of food products from the niche segment. Purpose of this research paper is to be developed a model to study the effect of Perceived Quality (PQ) and Perceived Price (PP) on Consumer Satisfaction (CS) among consumers consuming gluten-free products in the state of Punjab. This model further proposes to evaluate the mediating effect of perceived value (PV) on Perceived Price (PP) and Consumer Satisfaction (CS) and interference of Perceived Value (PV) between Perceived Quality(PQ) and Consumer Satisfaction(CS) towards gluten-free products.
